I just decided to get the topic up. I don't know what books I will read in 2014 but will try to read 1 or so books a week until the end of the year. This will include my going back and forth between ebooks and print ones that are from the library, the overdrive ebook library and the ebooks on my aldikio ereader that I own that I have not read yet. I'll post what books I've read when I finish them. Will start in January with books in my tbr list, classics to be read list, and any read 4 review book requests I receive. I hope to finish the four I found on smashwords for free that I am making them read4review books so if I can get one of the four read after I finish Krampus, that's great. If not, I'll move it to my 2014 list. Wish me luck! Reading for pleasure rocks!

I think it is open cuz I don't know how many I'll read all together. I've read a lot this year! :-) lol. And thanks! U too.
Maybe you could put a base number and then add on to it as you go? I did that this year, with a base of 50, then as I neared the finish line in July, I made it 75, and then 100 by the end of August.

So I'll post my books here in this thread for my 2014 reading starting Jan 1st. ^_^ good luck to everyone with their 2014 reading goals too!
1. Nightmare Abbey-ebook (the January classic group read for the All About Books book club)review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
It was pretty good Inkeri. This is my second book by ms. Mary Alice Monroe and I enjoyed it. I read her book the Book club last year and enjoyed it. Definitely check it out. :)
Enjoy Inkeri! My overdrive ebooks library through my local library had that one so I borrowed it and read it online. :) Now, off to find my next read! ^_^
3.Shift by kathy reichs -ebook short story and part of the virals Ya series (its a novella)review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
4.Angels Cry: A Novella by tina glasnek pretty good read. It is my first read 4 review request for the year too. be sure to check out my review for it.-ebookreview: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
5. Dr. Horrible and Other Horrible Stories-graphic novel bookreview: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I must admit, when you first said that you weren't putting down a base number of books for the year, I was skeptical about the number of books you would be reading this year, because personally, if I don't put a goal, I don't usually read much. However, you seem to be doing great without a goal, so kudos to you for that!:)
Thanks bouchra! My goal is 1 or more books a week until the end of the year. Sorry I made you skeptical.
7. The HollowsI read that one yesterday too.-graphic novel book done by the creator of the Maxxreview: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I'm sorry I didn't read any long books in my challenge so far but The Four Seasons by Mary Alice Monroe was 300-something pages and as an ebook it took me a week or two to read it but I did enjoy all my reads. The few I read recently were graphic novels anyway that I read yesterday at Books a million and nightmare abbey was a group read for another group, angel's cry was a read 4 review book, and shift is a ebook short story. so all of these were ebooks except for the graphic novels. Longer books take me a week or so to read but shorter ones take a few days. As long as I enjoy what I read that is all that matters to me, and I am going to be reading a lot that is on my tbr list too.
The books I will be reading will be ebooks from the overdrive ebooks library, ebooks I own on my android tablet, books I borrow from the library, books I own, and sometimes they will be ones I will read while browsing in bookstores (i.e. the ones I read at booksamillion recently). If you do not like what I read, I am sorry but these are the books I picked out to read and enjoyed.
Hey Roseanne, length doesn't matter at all. As long as I enjoy what I am reading, that is all that matters to me in my challenge.
All I care about is that I am reading things I am interested in. I think you are doing great. How did you like Stephen King's N.? Looks interesting
posted my reviews to my books. If you enjoy them, great. :) I posted my review to Stephen King's N. under the book message for it on here Roseanne. It was freaky scary. and thanks.

No problem Roseanne. I hope you enjoy it. Btw, why was luffy caring about the length of books so much? It's my challenge, I read what I want to anyway.

About the lengths of your books
--"Only of this and nothing more.
Just to let everyone know, I've cleared the thread up for Amber a bit, it was getting slightly messy.
Amber, I might ask you for some graphic novel recommendations soon. I've been meaning to get into them!

This will be my next read. 8. A Pizza To Die Forby Chris Cavender which is book 3 of the pizza lover's mysteries series.-ebook borrowed from the overdrive ebooks library through my local library. Review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I read book 2 last year which hooked me to the series and book 3 is going great so far. I'll be finished with it soon. Enjoying this one. I'll post my review link on this one on the review part of this post when I finish the ebook and write my review.

I've read all six books of the series and have given the first 5 books 5/5 ratings. Chris Cavender also writes under the pen name of Jessica Beck and Tim Myers, among others.
Awesome Luffy! I started on his book series last year with Pepperoni Pizza can be murder and am enjoying the series. my ebooks library only had books 2, 3, and 4 available to borrow as books 1, 5, and 6 are not available at the moment. Pizza is my favorite food anyway so that is why I decided to check the series out. plus it is cool how they give pizza recipes at the end for people to use.
Yes I forgot about the recipes. Let's see now if you can figure out who the culprit is. I guessed rightly for the fourth book, Rest In Pizza.Btw here's my review for the third book. It has no spoilers.

Great review luffy. I'll figure it out though. :) I think in the last book that I read last year, it was a girl that did it. So it's probably a guy or a girl.
