Yea! I'll spend some time listening to my audiobook this evening after DH goes to bed. I'm listening to
, which isn't very long.
I LOVE that series on audio, Lara. It doesn't take a lot of concentration to listen to it, just nice sweet - and funny - stories; I can easily get my errands done while listening to them. So weird, Lara, because before I went to Costco today I was looking for what to download to my iPod/Touch. After looking to see if
was out on audio yet, I noticed I haven't listened
. In the end, I decided to go in a different direction entirely...
. I haven't been particularly thrilled with this narrator before, but she not bugging me this time around.

LK, that is weird. I really enjoyed the first book, and like the story this time around as well, although Tanya Eby really messed up her accents early on. I got the first three books (and audiobooks) with special Amazon/Whispersync pricing. So, I'm really glad I'm liking them so far.
ShoSho, it's pretty fun on audio. I haven't picked up my kindle copies yet, although I may do so to finish a book tonight and free up my July reading shelf. Anyway, the audio is easy to get into.
Hi! I've not been chiming in here much, work has been manic with a few rota changes and crew mate changes! It's affected my reading a bit too, I'm 28 books behind at the moment and desperately trying to catch up a bit!

I've been good ! It's just cold and I don't want to do anything other than reading :D but work and RL gets in the way. I'm trying to catch up too. I'm 14 books behind

I haven't been particularly thrilled with the narrator of Elder Races,... in fact, for Serpent's Kiss I thought I would shoot myself... (I had to keep at it, as I was in a "buddy read" with DQs)... But she not bugging me this time around. Of course, I change the speed on her delivery (she's a bit too slow, normally). Plus, I got it at lower price, which always makes me feel more benevolent toward the narrator. :o)
As Lara said, on the Weekday Brides the narrator got the accents wrong... but **shrug** ...it is just fluff anyway.
I meant the Elder races ;)

I am a little behind right now because of the World Cup. I'm so glad I can watch the games this time around but it's cutting into my reading time, lol!!

But I watch the highlights every day.
ShoSho - I'm fortunate that they have been at noon and 4pm right now. At noon, a bunch of us go to the courtyard in our office building complex and watch it on the giant tv. I left early today to watch the Germany came and I think tomorrow our company is showing the USA game on the tv in one of the conference rooms. Definitely a case of World Cup fever here ;)

My brother-in-law is World Cup crazy and when they came for a visit I watch a game with them. He knew ALL the players and and teams and gave me a lot of backstory, which made it much more fun to watch.
