Re 412: Seams that the cover was indeed wrong, the showing cover was of the '90 edition published by Random House and not of the '91 edition by Delacorte Press. Changed cover!

Reverted. Books are often published with a single ISBN and multiple covers in different years. Please don't remove a cover without much stronger evidence that it was never published with a given cover. Instead, add an alternate-cover edition. See http://www.goodreads.com/help/show/85....

Yes I know what to do, but I found that the red cover was actually the cover of the first edition published by Delacorte and the black with the mask is the cover of the first edition published by random house in Canada, that's why I changed them. So in my view it was a correct edit because we are talking about 2 different publishing house. I believe because Amazon now shows the mask one associated with this ISBN is how the cover was added, but Amazon is not a reliable source for covers especially for old editions.
Re: 420It was a correct edit. The two books have different ISBN's and were published by two separate publishing houses. You can research online if you want to confirm this. Only, Amazon is showing the wrong cover so if that's your sole source for book covers, then I can't do anything about that. But I am holding the book on my hand with ISBN:9780385302968 and it has the following cover:

That doesn't prove this cover was never published under this ISBN as well. It has been almost 25 years, and it's hard to prove a negative in any case. The evidence you are providing is all from sites we cannot use, but isn't necessary anyway. I am not doubting it was also published with that cover. That's why we have alternate-cover editions, because publishers so often republish the same book with the same ISBN and a different cover.

looks like someone did 43.re 439, the easiest thing is to upload the cover image to your GR profile as an additional picture. Go to your profile page, and click on 'more photos' just under your profile pic. From there, click on 'add more photos' (on the top right, just below the menu bar). After you've done that, post back here with the link to the photo page.
