If you could provide a Goodreads link to the book(s) in question we can investigate this. Currently it seems you don't have claimed author profile (possibly in processing), which means you can not edit records you haven't created. Librarians can edit all records, and Authors (with claimed profiles) can edit some data on their own book records.

It has somehow gotten combined with some other books, but I'll post a request elsewhere for someone to untangle that. The "separate" tool just flips me to a news feed.

As the author, you have the ability to change which edition of the book is the default, which will come up in searches by title and show on your author profile. Here's how: http://www.goodreads.com/help/show/31...

Please also note that we never edit an existing edition to become a new edition. Please add new editions (or request for librarians to add it) instead.

I have also uncombined some of your books that were accidentally combined together.

Do I still need to combine the 3 or 4 "editions" (misnomer--probably why so many of us are confused) of each of my books in order for 1 description, 1 set of reviews, etc., to show up with all FORMATS of the same book?

You will never get one description, cover, etc., showing up for all formats/editions of the same book. That's not how Goodreads works. The idea is that each separate edition/format of a book remains available for people to add, if they own that version of the book. But the combining process enables for all reviews to be shown across all editions (if you look at the "rating details" dropdown or at the bottom, all ratings and reviews should be the same, whichever edition you're looking at).

The idea with regards to setting the default is that you can choose which version of your book readers looking for your book see first when either using the search or looking via your author profile.

Ebay is not a source we can use for covers or other books data. We cannot use book covers or other book data from booksellers, with the sole exception of Amazon. If you have a copy of the book, you can scan the cover yourself.
