RandomAnthony | 14536 comments You must get an avatar, Michelle. Then perhaps we'll reveal this highly classified information:)

message 58: by [deleted user] (new)

RA or Sally will hound you until you get an avatar Michelle, they are not big on the generic silhouette. An avatar just gives us an idea of something about you. Let me know if you need any help.

message 60: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments You see? Jim's the right guy for the avatar thing. Thanks, sir.

message 61: by Michelle (new)

Michelle (luvrdn) | 501 comments What should I pick? it's just so defining, I feel boxed in with one idea, decisions are really hard for me.

message 62: by [deleted user] (new)

No Problem, and I am listening to Sarah Pi right now.

message 63: by Michelle (new)

Michelle (luvrdn) | 501 comments I read she has a band, what style?

message 64: by [deleted user] (new)

I am listening to Sarah herself, not the Stalking Horses. I would call her more of a folk/singer/songwriter and the group more rock.

message 65: by Michelle (new)

Michelle (luvrdn) | 501 comments haaaah,we can talk on here?...just kidding,I am coffee bound, i will think of awell rounded avatar, later

Usako (bbmeltdown) 1. Droids (Remix) - Star Wars Musicial
We're the droids of Tatooine!!!! I AM A DROID!!!

2. The Age of Not Believing - Angela Lansbury in Bedknobs and Broomsticks
*sniffs* Wonderful movie!

3. Where Does the Good Go - Tegan & Sara
Another artist I discovered from watching Grey's Anatomy. How many other artists have people discovered from TV series??

4. Witwicky - Steve Jablonsky (Transformers: The Score)
The score is a good data entry energy pumping song.

5. Monsoon - Enon
Forget where I discovered this group or how I got this song. Huh.

...and now I shall go "dancing through life" as the next song cue.

message 84: by Michelle (new)

Michelle (luvrdn) | 501 comments Monsson! I love that song, my nephew sings it on Rock band,I request he singit every time we play.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Dawson's Creek used to have great music too, I like Duffy's/Mercy.

message 85: by Usako (new)

Usako (bbmeltdown) That's cute, Michelle!

Gossip Girl has had some good songs but I got more from Grey's and Bones. Notice how some shows will post the artist/band information during the credits?

message 88: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 13814 comments My goal was always to get a song onto Buffy, but I never submitted, so it's my own fault it didn't happen.

I remember when Tegan & Sara were just cute little teenage twin punk folkies, opening for folk acts. It's been fun watching them make it big(gish).

message 89: by Usako (new)

Usako (bbmeltdown) Poor balloons

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments Now Duffy's begging ME for mercy!

message 91: by Usako (new)

Usako (bbmeltdown) *giggles*

Today's assortment:
1) A Day Late - Anberlin
2) Akatsuki No Kuruma from Mobile Suit Gundum Seed

4) Play Me - Neil Diamond
5) Okay for Baby - Benny Carter (big band swing)

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17373 comments Mod
I'm listening to peppy poppy Beatles: the kind all about holding hands and falling in love. This is usually the kind of Beatles that grates on my nerves, but it sounds quaint tonight.

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments I'm listening to "Let a Woman in Your Life" from My Fair Lady. It's on TCM. Henry Higgins is just insuffferable!

message 100: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments I am listening to the birds wake.

I haven't listened to much new music lately. Might listen to the new dirty projectors at work this morning.
