15.4 requires that the author's first or last name match the first or last name of a character from Clue. Brett Easton Ellis and Eileen Brennan do not have any names in common.

I thought 15.4 meant initials-- ok, will use for another task.

I just posted for 15.1 in post 916. I didn't realize that 15.1 was a two part task. So I have one book done. I will have to repost when I read the second one. Sorry about that.

Thanks for the early heads up - I'll just ignore that post when I get to it.

Please check your totals - you should have a grand total of 50. No need to repost, this is just so you can correct your own records.

I only have 11 GRA tickets recorded for you. You have 12 in your total. Am I missing one? I've recorded GRA from the following posts:
16 - Jen Campbell
50 - Kevin Hearne
79 - Donna Andrews
258 - Jeaniene Frost & Maggie Stiefvater
400 - Aimee Laine
604 - Karin Slaughter
821 - Rainbow Rowell
854 - Vannetta Chapman

Thanks, I will repost the correct edition. I was actually planning on switching this book to a different task anyways so I guess it works out.

The rules of the challenge provide that
If you claim a book in Completed Tasks that exists ONLY in ebook format, you MUST provide a reference to the ebook verification document when you post ex."Approved @ line #" or provide the post number in the ebook verification thread where it was approved ex. "ebook Approved post #"

Task 30.7, option 5, requires an anthology, with at least 2 transitional books (books with series number that are "in between" the regular books, with .5 or such as the series numbers). Divergent is not an anthology, nor does it have a transitional series number.

For task 20.1, you need to include the option you're using. "20.1A" isn't enough, since 3 of the options have "A" choices.
Task 20.5, option 5 (or E) requires a book about football. From the GR description, Adam Canfield of the Slash appears to be about a middle school newspaper reporter and there is nothing in the GR description to indicate that the book involves football in any significant way. Please explain how this book fits the task.
Task 20.7, option 2, requires that science fiction or alternate history be listed as a genre on the book's main page. TimeRiders: Day of the Predator has no genres listed on its main page.
The points for 20.4 have been recorded, so please do not repost for that task.

Task 20.8 is a one book task. I have recorded the points, but you will probably want to use one of these books for another task. When you post for the other task, please note that it was unnecessarily used for this task, so that I am reminded that you are not trying to use the same book twice!

A classic case of badly imported data and missing combination of editions. I combined all editions and now it should show both ebook and paperback.

Only one GRA ticket is issued per book so you get one ticket for Beautiful Chaos even though both authors are GRAs. Please adjust your final total.

As of post 946 my total should be 285 not 255. I didn't see any issues on that post. Do you know why the Readerboard is incorrect?"
Unfortunately, it looks as if my post in this thread didn't go through. In your post #946, task 30.6, you did not include the identity of the lists you used for option 1 - that's a required element of your post. It at least cuts in half the number of lists I have to look through to try to find your books!

Unfortunately, we don't have time to research posted books - that's why we have to go with what shows up on GR, and, more particularly, by what shows up on the link you provide.
Best thing to do is to check this before you post - then, if the GR data is inaccurate, you can get a GR librarian to fix the problem before you post.

According to Rule 8 of the Challenge Rules, ebook page count should be determined as follows:
If you read an ebook, or audiobook use the page count for the mass market paperback if one exists. If there is no mass market paperback edition, use the paperback edition and if no paperback is available use the hardcover edition.
The paperback edition of The Atopia Chronicles has 496 pages and is, therefore, not eligible for Big Book tickets.

Task 20.4 option 3 requires that the title/subtitle and author combined contain exactly 3 "E"s. The Infinite Moment of Us by Lauren Myracle contains 3 Es in the title and 2 more in the author's name, so will not work for this task.

We're going to take this one, because it was specifically approved.
Please note, however, that this pair does not fit the task, which calls for reading the first published book, not the first published novel. Unfortunately, before she stopped answering questions in the help thread or responding to our questions, the task creator approved a couple book pairs that do not fit the task as she designed it.
So, we will accept book pairs that were specifically approved in the help thread, since you relied on this. Nobody should, however, generalize from this - a published collection of short stories would count as the first published book in any other situation.

Task 15.6 requires a word from the title of one of the songs in the title of the book. The task specifically says that plural/singular and possessives of the word are allowed, but no other variations. "Lightness" will not work for the song title word "light."
Also, please see message 119 in this thread.
