Hello my gorgeous BUDDY READ girls ... Finally finished book two ... I'm still conflicted over my rating somewhere between 3-4 ... Some parts I LOOOOVED others not so much ... I know I'm way behind I'll be starting book three soonish ... Thank you once again SueBee YOUAREAMAZING ❤️❤️❤️

Hi ladies!! (Waving and blowing kisses) I have some Internet connection at the moment. I've been out of town since thanksgiving but will be back to civilization soon. I'm 76% in book 2- been hard to read while entertaining so not as fast with finishing as I'd have liked to have been. The arguments are alittle frustrating at times, I get her insecurities but sometimes I wanna scream. I think Allison said it, she is a nympho. I have missed chatting but where I'm at, getting on my iPad with service is such a hit or miss and I hate doing it on my phone!!! Will be back in the groove in a few hours!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I had a lot of time to think about this Katherine Hart....and I really haven't put much about her in my reviews due to a lot of what you all have talked about.But I have come up with an undestanding of who and why she is finally for me....
As a top level MIT graduate in computer forensic accounting.....she is wired a particular way....she has a singular focus on what she is doing and blocks out everything else while doing it....a compulsion if you will....which can also be tenacity or obsessiviness.
She is stubborn and yet open. So with these elements in play....she is the perfect fit for Dominic's established sex drive.....she was described as an almost virgin....meaning little to no experience..which in mybhead proved to be nothing or no one ever rang her bell and awakened her senses....so when you put a master in the sexual arts like him with a woman hardwired to be compulsive and obsessive in achieving her tasks and goals....then she is ripe to be that obsessed. He was constantly aware from the start of how she was reacting and encouraged it and then became frightened at one point in book 1 when they both were loosing all reason...she said to him....you need to be the reasonable one for us.
So that's my take of the sexual neds of her....as to the silly fights etc....she was raised to stand up....she is stubborn just like him and later learns to pick her battles.

Thanks for breakdown Wendy!! I think Kate needed to be not like the others and also complicated to illustrate to us READERS the length that Dominic would go to appease her when like I mentioned before in all his life he never bent for anyone. I love the glimpses of him getting angry even (view spoiler) when not getting his way and it shows in his devious behavior... then Katherine is holding on with dear life.
For me the ultimate hero.. I feel she took many risks with both of their characters/behaviors and brought us a mufti-layered, complex story. Yes lots of sex, but it sort of what brought them together and the trilogy will show us whether that is enough when real life comes knocking!
I think the reason I liked Kate so much is because I am a nympho too so I could totally relate. And hey, if I had Dominic Knight at my dsposal I'd probably want it twice as much (if that's even possibe! LMAO!). Just sayin' ...

Hi everyone. I finished book 2 today and I agree with you, Deanna. I loved the last 30%. I'm looking forward to book 3 now but as there was no major cliffy I'm going to have a little book pause. It left me feeling good but there were parts that didn't work so well for me personally.
Deanna and Joanna- I think we all have parts we don't love, annoy or bore us but I think you'll like book three the most. It annoyed me the least as it's more love story and not all sex and banter.
I stated book 3 yesterday after I finished book 2 and read till 2am. I'm at 60% and I'm in love with it so far. You are so right Allison, it's the love story finally and I have cried and smiled and am keeping my fingers crossed.......but this one is really doing it for me!!

I'd gladly take both but I don't think books 1 & 2 had much of the former. I needed the "meat" to the story that book three gives us. Sex alone isn't enough.

That is a great feeling when the author takes the time to let you know!!! Doing the happy dance for you!! I'm at 71% and absolutely love this book- it is so heartbreaking at the moment :-(

You're making me very excited for book 3!
I felt it a year ago when I first read book 1 that Dominic would probably be my #1 hero... and after completing the series I am happy to report that he holds the reins... and that is after some 1,100 heroes... so for me very significant!!!
