Wendy, right now book 3 is my least favorite because (view spoiler)[I really wish the fuckfest in the beginning didn't last for almost 10 chapters ... I would have loved a story with Gora to play SOME sort of part in this conclusion (attempting to kidnap Kate, for example), I also would have loved to see both parents show up not just one for 2.5 seconds. I felt like the ending was crammed into the last 2 chapters and wish it was more detailed instead. Maybe once I reread the last book at a slower pace, my feelings will change. But I know the things I mentioned WILL still bother me in the future. I still enjoyed it VERY much, don't get me wrong, but it wasn't an 5 star story this one. totally understand that an there was extensive stuff for the first chapters... and the concept of Gora coming into play would not have been unlikely... I just think that fact that everyday life could impact on him at the desperate level it did was a way of CC demonstrating you can have all the $$ in the world.. all power etc and still things can happen like they do everyday to people... which we all have no way of controlling- not even Dominic Knight. And the impact was equally as impact full as a possible kidnapping.
I also think because it was a reread... i was caught up wanting things to be a certain way...

Are most of you rereading the previous 2 books before book 3 (Gabriel's books)? I would like to reread because I have a very vague recollection of the first two books (book 2 especially!) before I start 3 but I agree, Sue, another trilogy isn't looking too good at the moment. But do let me know if/when you guys decide to do all 3 or just #3 of Gabriel. Gotta love the professor :)
