Lathar makes a new connection with Ezra and his body begins to heat up and glow like lava. "Let go of me," he says in a threatening tone. His skin is now as hot as the outer core of the earth. Again Lathar repeats, "It's not my concern, now let go."
Soren grins" must I kill you?"
"Try," Lathar states as his eyes glow bright blue. With that Lathar made some distance and readied himself for whatever Soren was going to throw at him.
(( Can we say Ezra has markings on her?
(( Soren has markings on his back that the only things he knows about is that a special creature has them to.))
Soren goes over to Ezra and inspects the markings all over her then inspects the markings on a piece of paper he has that he copied down from the markings on his back" These are the same markings I have on my back....."
Lathar allows his body to cool as Ezra watches Soren. She eyes the mage before saying, "why would you possess markings of a dragon?"
" My grandfather was a dragon rider."
Lathar couldn't believe his ears. "What! Alger was your." Lathar remembered his old master and those two little children. When he left, Alger was still alive and the children were still only toddlers.
" Aljer's the one who had the staff before me while he was dying He gave it to me and my skinny scrawny brother talk a magical gift that when he was a teenager like he is now he would be 9 feet tall."
"He's dead?" Lathar fell back and began to cry remembering how Alger practically raised him. Leaning heavily on Ezra, Lathar continued to cry. His emotions were flaring and he couldn't control himself.
Soren places his hand on lathars back" I know how you feel. He raised me and treated me like a son when my parents were killed before I was even a year old.
Lathar pushed Soren's hand away. "I don't need nor want your sympathy." Lathar got up and turned, "If you want to rescue your brother I'll come, but only for Alger."[[I have to go. talk to you later]]
He throws Lathar to the ground" I don't want a assholes help." He then vanishes.
Lathar didn't really care if the guy wanted him or not. He remembered the two brats and how they played long ago. Lathar mounted Ezra and told her to follow Soren. Now that Soren was all worked up he'd be reckless. Ezra tracked the mage and stayed on his trail.
He works on a spell for a little bit then when he was done he vanishes and the spell was untraceable.
Ezra eventually looses Soren. Lathar decides that it would be best to rest. They land in a dense forest where he dozes off a bit. In his dream he remembers how he fought to survive. As a child he was sought after by many. Most wanted to kill him while others wanted to use his powers. All feared what he'd become. After finding Alger, Lathar was able to raise Ezra in a caring environment, away from the stress of living. He treasured those years the most. Remembering the time he said good-bye to the old man, Lathar smiled just a bit. He wasn't a child any more, yet Alger still gave him a lunch for the trip.
Soren went to his hometown and got every single weapon from his home and the blacksmith then leaves home.
Lathar awoke feeling refreshed and stretched giving a loud groan. "You're an awfully nice bed Ezra." She just looked away. "You might have a career. You're warm and soft and oh so cuddly." Lathar knew that she'd probably hate him for saying that, but they were stuck together so why not? Ezra replied, "And you're an obnoxious fool." Lathar smiled broadly with a short, "yup!"
Soren walks through the forest and sees the dragon rider and his dragon so he uses a Invisibilty spell.
Before Soren could cast the spell, Ezra immediately picked up his scent or rather his aura. Lathar could feel it too. Being the inconsiderate, obnoxious fool, Lathar called, "Stop hiding runt!" He couldn't help himself. Now that he knew Soren was that kid from Alger's he couldn't help but see the boy as a run or brat. Nicknames weren't his forte, but they'd have to work for now.
(( Actually Lathar and Soren are the same age.......
[[I was thinking that Lathar would be older because his life span is extended bc he's a dragon ryder.
(( And Soren can live forever as long as if he doesn't get killed and it's extremely hard to kill a wizard. Not to hard to injure them but extremely hard to kill one.
Soren laughs" You realize were the same age."
Lathar is shocked by this statement saying, "But I remember you as an infant! A toddler! There's no way you're the same age." He was surprised as he scanned his memory for the kid who was Soren. In his mind he knew that he was older when they first met, so how could Soren be the same age? It was just improbable.
" My uncle died to. My uncle had a child around the same age as talk. The toddlers you were around were talk and Jalis."
Lathar nodded in agreement before replying, "OK." He could really care less about what was going on right now. His mind drifted a bit as it usually did when he became less interested in a conversation. He imagined another world. Surely it wasn't too far fetched since this world had so many possibilities. With his eyes towards the sky he wondered, "Can we escape reality? Or at least, this reality?"
(( did he say that out loud.))
Soren nods" We can but is is close to impossible but there are 2 ways one is simple and easy though.

[[not yet, but I might be. Sorry a lot has been going on. I haven't been online often enough to post...or even check. This will probably be quite sporadic posting on my part so sorry in advance]]Lathar didn't reply instead he just continued to daydream. His mind was racing as it usually did so he began to quite everything. Something that Alger taught him when he was first apprenticed, how to tune everything out. Now, Lathar could tune everything out except Ezra. She was always allowed to share a piece of his mind. 'I'm so tire, Ezra,' Lathar thought silently. Ezra replied with, 'I know.' Her voice always seemed to sooth his restless mind. Lathar then opened his eyes to Soren and answered, "So what about Talk?"
" We should find him before the the seasons collide that is in 2 months."
"Lead the way," Lathar stated. He could care less besides he could go for a walk. The day was nice so why not? Lathar got up and began to walk without a care in the world. He wondered what it would be like if he could just get rid of this guy. He was such a pain.
Soren smiles and starts to act normally" When we get to the nearest town want to get lunch."
Lathar looks at Soren skeptically, "Aren't you kind of laid back. Especially since your brother was just taken?" He really didn't understand Soren and even more so, Lathar disliked him. If not for his attitude than for his power. It rivaled his own and he felt threatened. Despite this feeling, Ezra continued to tell Lathar, 'It'll be fine.'
" Well I'm trying to pretend that didn't happen but your ruining my mood." He says as many trees behind him set on fire.
"Sooryyy if I thought you'd be more concerned." Lathar said sarcastically. He didn't really care that Soren was losing control or even that he set trees on fire. Instead he just continued to walk. He called back, "So I'm assuming you're buying, since I'm broke and all. Oh, don't forget that you have the two of us to feed."
" I AM CONCERNED I JUST LOST MY GOD DAMN BROTHER BECAUSE OF YOU!! I will get some goats and cows for Ezra! I will get a single kernel for you you piece of ogre shit!"
"Don't get your panties in a bunch," Lathar stated as Ezra asked, 'why, I don't need anything.' he replied with a simple, 'To annoy him. Besides he just got a lot more interesting.' Ezra smiled slightly knowing that Lathar would drag this on."Ok, besides, Ezra will share. You should just cool down."
He starts shouting in a random language and fire burns around him then his eyes narrow and start to glow red(( your about to know why he has dragon marks on him.))
[[Good cus I gotta go to bed]]Lathar could feel the power surging through Soren, but didn't bother to look back. Ezra took a more defensive position to protect her ryder. Lathar continued to walk as he called back, "You gonna lag behind all day? If you don't hurry we'll never find your brother."
Soren's skin turn into scales all over his body then his teeth become razor sharp fangs then he grows claws out of his fingers. Leathery wings come out of his shoulder blades. Soren begins to scream In pain as he kneels over and a tail starts to come out of his ass he then flies off into the forest.
Lathar watches calmly. Even something this insane didn't phase him. Instead he just continued to walk. Despite Lathar's calm persona, Ezra was on high-alert. "Good riddance." [[nite]]
The entire forest burns down in a few minutes then Soren flies out in front of Lathar now a full dragon bigger than Ezra.
Soren grabs lathars arm and says" I know how you feel I truly do but please that's my brother that you Caused to get kidnapped. I need your help please."
