All Cassie could mange was a, "What the F***!" She couldn't believe her ears when he said this. This was madness! Insanity. After her mind was complete mush for a few moments, Cassie continued, "Just take me to the party."

" The partys not for 3 hours and my friend has a dress you can wear so lets talk.
"I don't want to!" Cassie's powers began to get out of hand. A light golden glow became prevalent and her wings began to show. Tears were streaming down her face as she continued, "Not now! I don't want to!"
He curses then holds out his hand and something shoots into her and her powers suddenly stop flowing through her but it sapped energy from him to do that
Cassie fell to the floor. She felt weak and confused. All she wanted now was her father. He was always so nice and loving. Why! Why was she alone now!
He bends down and carresses her cheek
"Don't touch me," She says weakly. Too much has happened in the last few days. Her mind hasn't had enough time to figure everything out.
Cassie eventually cried herself to sleep. The stress faded along with her consciousness. She escaped into her dreams where her powers arose to protect her from intruders. Only if she allowed, could others enter her sacred realm of dreams.
He cries himself.Him and her father were great friends
She woke up about 2 hours later and found herself alone in a room. A nice dress had been laid out for her, but that was the only splash of color in the room.
He was crying in the other roome
Cassie didn't know what to do. She was in a strange room and she didn't know where she was exactly either. Wandering a bit, she heard a muffled crying. She leaned closer to the wall and listened harder. 'Was that Dax?' she thought. Before she could get a better listen she rushed through the door to find Dax crying on the other side of the wall. Cassie went up to him and for the first time sympathized with him. She went over next to him and said in a low voice, "Sorry."
He shakes his head then wipes his eyes, he was holding a picture of her father and himself but he looked 20 years older around the same age as her father" For what ?" He asks Cassie
"Everything...anything?" Cassie smiled trying to comfort him in any way possible. She honestly didn't know what to do. She's never really had to comfort someone, despite a demon. But she had to do something...it was the least she could do for him.
" I want to clarify that I am not a demon I am an angel demon hybrid. But thank you for trying to comity me when I know you truly don't care if I'm sad or not "
Cassie pouted, "It's not nice to be rude like that. I'm trying!" She couldn't believe him! She thought about how his mind reading was really pissing her off and said, "I wish you'd quit that mind reading thing. It's really insensitive and rude. I don't appreciate you doing that."
" I'm sorry. I can't stop reading your mind I can't stop reading anyone's mind do you know how annoying it is when I'm in a crowded place." He kisses her nose" But I will try my best to not read yours."
Cassie was caught completely off guard when Dax kissed her nose. She nearly fell over as she exclaimed, "W-why'd you do that?" Not knowing what else to say, she just stammered on, "I-its because you're being nice? Or my brother or something!" GAHH!!! her mind was going into overdrive.
" Calm down or things might explode bit yeah we have an hour till the party
Cassie found herself laughing. This was absurd to be so crazed over something so small. She smiled at Dax and replied, "Sounds good."
He smiles at her then shows her another picture with him but looked 20 years older, Her father, and her when she was 7 all smiling.
Cassie looked at the picture and gasped, "I remember that picture!" Getting a bit excited, Cassie smiled at Dax warmly.
" there are many more like that. Do you still think I will hurt you?"
Cassie was still tying to figure everything out so she answered, "Like a brother?" She thought that if he did hurt her, it would be on accident like when siblings play fight.
" Not even like a brother." He says quietly.
"Close to it." she muttered to herself. The only way she was grasping this entire thing was to relate Dax as a brother. Too much else and she'd over think things again.
He shows her a picture of him dressed as a cop from the 40's and her and father dressed as Bonnie and Clyde on Halloween
Cassie chuckled and looked at Dax again. It was nice to know he was 'humanish'. She felt closer to Dax now as she glanced at the photos
He shows her another with her as a baby and him holding her with a smile.
"Is that me?" she asked somewhat astonished. She was so small...and in Dax's arms. She really couldn't believe that these were real.
" Yes it's you. You were adorable and still are
Cassie blushed a bit before turning so Dax couldn't see her face. She wasn't expecting that. He was not supposed to say that! GAH!
He starts looking at a picture until he sees one that makes a tear fall
Cassie looks over his shoulder to see which picture he was looking at.
The picture of him,her,her father,and a beautiful woman maybe the most beautiful woman ever holding her it was her mother and his.
"She's pretty," Cassie exclaimed and continued, "who is she?" The lady didn't look at all familiar,
"WhaT!" Cassie nearly fell backwards. That lady was her mother? Since when! She's never seen even a picture of the woman. There's no memories of her either. Wouldn't she remember something about her mother? Something?[[nite]]
" that is the only picture of her. After explained things to Roger she left and he never spoke about her again
"Oh," Cassie said disappointed. She couldn't believe that this woman could be her mother and why her father never spoke about her. Looking away as to get her mind off of the topic, Cassie realized that 3 hours had passed and that the party was bound to begin. "We're going to be late," she exclaimed.
" I can teleport you realize that?"
"I didn't know that, but I still have to get ready," Cassie explained. She rushed back into that room and changed into the dress quickly. Taking a few minutes, Cassie did her hair and put on whatever makeup she could find. For someone who just threw the outfit together, she made it work. In all honesty though, Cassie hated not having more time to ready herself. She rushed out of the room exclaiming, "I'm ready!" She held her arm out as if waiting to be escorted by Dax.
" You want more time to get ready?" He asks sincerely
"No I'm fine. I just want to get to the party," She explained fixing something on her dress despite the fact there was nothing to fix.
"It's fine," Cassie insisted as she grabbed Dax, "now lets get to that party!"
He smiles then teleports away with her.
