"I'd say you need no advice in this matter, seems you're both cute and dangerous" he said with a chuckle and took one up himself tossing it and hitting just next to hers.
"You think I'am cute?" Valerie said tilting her head and smiling at him. Her red orange and blonde hair fell to one side of her face.
Valerie smirked. She turned and grabbed another javelin and threw it at a different target with success yet again.
"Now one would be showing off which I can do as well" he said forming light into a little flame and then tossing it to ignite her last toss. "By the way how are you not freezing?" he asked as she was wearing summer clothes though they fit well.
"I don't know, maybe its my will power not to be weak." Valerie said shrugging. She remembered when she used to run in the mud and rain when she went to army boot camp during April.
"Well then good on you looking good when everyone has to cover up" he chuckled being annoyed with his own need for sun to be warm.
Neno fell silent and let her show off as she wanted with a big smile splayed across his tanned face.
"Just watching the show is all which is good so far" he said with a smirk, knowing that would push her to continue.
"All I'm doing is playing with the stick." Valerie says shrugging with a quirky expression on her face.
"Yes but as one would if she were say a flag girl for a band" he said with a laugh at her expression alone.
Valerie giggled putting the "stick" back in its place with the other "sticks". "I'm hungry, wanna go get something?" Valerie asked Neno.
"SUre I could eat, especially in company such as yours" he said with a quick wink as he waved off his flame.
Valerie grabbed Neno's hand and they started walking together. Valerie didn't care that they had only just met, she was naturally outgoing.
Neno didn't expect her to grab his hand but he just let her lead as he had no objections to being led by sexy girls.
Crystallia walked into the javelin range, looking around to see who was there. She didn't see anyone, or at least she couldn't tell if anyone was there. Chrys let her naturally white haur out of its bun to flow down her back and the side of her face. Her cheeks reddened a bit from the heat, so she used her hands to keep herself cool and walked over to a bucket of javelins.
Gerce, crouched behind a corner, waited for someone to grab a javelin, which, if the grenades he'd lifted from the Hephaestus cabin, would cause an explosion of heat. Probably not lethal, though. It wouldn't melt the javelins. Probably. He remained silent. he had done something similar to this several times.
Bend the truth, he reminded himself.
Crystallia lifted up a javelin and they exploded in her face. Luckily she was able to sheild herswlf in fron the blasts by creating a heavy thick dome of ice with her powers.
No screams. No clearly evident outrage. That meant that he should continue to make no sound AT ALL. Run? If the one he'd failed to surprise was anyone worth reckoning with, he'd be caught in seconds.
Crystallia let the dome crumble once the grenades were done. She looked around silently for the planter. Though she showed no sign of anger, Crystal was furious. The heat could have killed her if she wasn't ready.
IamsodeadIamsodeadIamsodeadIamsodead.Gerce attempted to remind himself of his capabilities.
You have run away from worse threats than a fellow demigod. You are skilled enough in cowardice to evade this.
Gerce darted around the ice with skill until, looking down at his feet to avoid the ice, he ran directly into the wall. Three feet from Chrystallia."Well," he determined, knocked onto his back.
Crystallia let a small smile creep onto her face, and walked over. She knelt next to him and asked "Why were you running?"
"It's this habit I have when people shoot at me," he explained without technically lying."Why were you trying to kill me?"
"I only did that because you were running away from me. I was trying to slow you down. Why did yiu plabt those grenades?" Crystallia said without faltering.
"Those grenades aren't mine," he answered, staring her in the eye with his completely trustworthy eyes. Everything about him conveyed TRUTH. And he also didn't lie. The grenades belonged to Hephaestus's kids.
"I did not plant these grenades," he said, completely trustworthy."Plant" was an improper word to use in that context. He hadn't covered them in ANY dirt.
Crystallia frowned a bit. "They could have killed me. Heat kills me. Heat is not a daughter of Khione's friend" she said calmly
