"How? Apollo's kids are the exact opposite." Amber said while her hand ignites with fire. She touch Duke's steel and watch as the fire dance along the steel.

"I was the laughing stock of the school. I was even resented by the other band kids because I could play more instruments than the others. I never really fit in" she said
"Sounds like hell." Amber replied sarcastically. "I really don't wanna talk about it. It puts me in a bad mood."
Geena held a javelin in her hand. "Well. This should be interesting." She said out. She had never practiced with any other weapon besides a bow and arrow. She stretched out her silver butterfly wings, the wind from their fluttering bringing up a cloud of dirt. She hovered above the ground and hurled the javelin...a foot away from an unsuspecting demigod.
Indiana squealed, and she was suddenly surrounded by a cloud of Mist. She waved it away impatiantly "watch where ya aim that thang! I was almost speared!" She shouted, too scared for her life that she didn't realize that the country accent that she tried so hard to hide was out in the open
Geena floated over. "AH SORRY!!" She rubbed Indiana's face. "You ok?!? My aim is worse than a drunk guy playing balloon ballon darts... at least when it comes to this javelin...thingy. Hey! Are you from the South?"
She blushed. Well there goes no one knowing about it "yes ma'am I am. I'm from Cottageville, south Carolina . Born an raised in de south"
((Sorry!))Geena raised her eyebrows. "Really! I'm from North Carolina! But the north north part of it where the accents kinda disapear. Chapel Hill to be exact. Look at us. Too girls from the middle of nowhere. We're going to get along swimingly.
Indiana smiled brightly "you from north Carolina? Well well what do ya now. Yes ma'am I think we are going to get along just fine"
"You know it." She put an arm around her shoulder. "So tell me. Can you throw that thing?" She motined to her javelin, lodged in the dirt.
"Hmmmm" Indiana picked it up "my weapon is a bladed staff that can turn into a short sword and a spear... so I don't know" she pulled her arm back and threw it. It hit a little to the left of the bulls eye
Geena looked at her. "Not bad." She copied Indiana's technique, but missed the target completly and hit the nearest one to the left. She looked impressed with herself. "At least I hit one... even if it wasn't the right one..." She trailed off awkwardly.
"Meh. Lets skip practing." She picked up another javelin and threw it, missing the target altogether. "For now. I saw the Mist surrounding you. Are you a Hecate kid? Can you show me a magic trick?" She smiled, her brown eyes lighting up.
"How to control it. I'm still learning" she held up a hand. Mist swirled around her hand, flickering before vanishing completely
"Cooooool." Geena marveled. "You can really do some amazing stuff with the Mist. I knew someone from the Huntresses who used it to trick animals into going in our direction in hunting season. It was epic."
"Oh nah. Totally fine. Not your fault, silly." She rubbed the top of Indiana's head. "Its a terribly long story."
Indiana looked at her strangely. "If you ever need to talk about it, come find me. And might I add that you have a weird habit of rubbing people?"
"You want me to tell you the story? Really?" Geena paused, considering it. "And hehe I know. I'm a very touchy human." She jumped into the air and flew over Indiana. She landed on the javelin shack "I'll tell you my story if you tell me yours."
Indiana thought for a moment "what is there to tell? I was born on June 26, 1997, my father named me Indiana Jones and we grew up in Cottageville with me, my brother and my father....... a few years ago,, my dad was diagnosed with cancer. They tried to keep it a secret for me,and i always let them think they succeeded. During the week before I was attacked by the chimaera that forced my dad to take me to camp, my brother and my dad came up with a plan. That Gatsby would stay behind until the inevitable happened, then Gatsby would join me at camp.... and he can,e yesterday" she said this last part quietly
Geena floated down from the roof and engulfed Indiana in a tight hug. "I'm so sorry. I would tell you to look on the bright side of things and realize that your brother's with you now but... it still sucks regardless. Just remember its ok not to be ok, ok?"
Indiana was surprised by the hug " you know what..its OK.... and I don't want to talk about it. What's your story?"
"Good cause I dont want to give you bad advice, as I am notoriously known for giving. " A blank look crossed her face. "My story... yes. Well, my mom was a poet. A love one. Anteros found that sexy, so I was born. For my entire life Anteros was never there, yet my mother was enamored with him and refused to date anyone else. She became depressed, and I kinda decided love was bogus, and I joined the Huntresses for about a year until my dad either gave me the option of leaving them and going to the Camp with these wings" She turned around, showing Indiana her silver butterfly wings. "Or dying. Obviously, Im still here so I left the Huntresses. Which sucks."
Geena nodded. "Well at least we know we can kick their butts every once in a while." Geena said, thinking about Percy Jackson and how he deafeted Ares. "Dude. Im sooo bored." She threw another javelin at a target. "We should do something."
Camilla walked towards the range and picked up a javelin, inspecting the sharp point. Why aren't these available in Jupiter? she wondered. I should talk to Reyna about this.
Justine skipped along into the javelin range, nearly getting impaled by a javelin gone haywire. She dropped to the floor, missing it by millimeters, and laughed. "HAHA WHOOPS! ALMOST DIED THERE! AH HA HA!" She popped back up, her afro of curls bouncing. She reached for a javelin in the container. "Hiya!" She said to Camilla. "You're Luce, right? So sorry if I got that wrong!" She smiled sheepishly. "I loose track of the names SO easily here."
Camilla looked at her, tilting her head in a perplexed manner. "No, we've never met, so it isn't possible for you to know my name before." She shook her head. "I'm Camilla by the way, what's yours?"
"Camilla? Haha don't know how I got Luce. I guess it kinda rhymes... wait no. No it doesn't. Like at all." She clasped her arms together. "And yes, we haven't met yet. BUT I like to know everyone's names, so I ask the counselors for the names of the new people! But I always forget them." She smiled. "I'm Justine!" She stuck out her brown hand.
She shook her hand, the javelin in her other hand. "Hello, it's a pleasure to meet you." Camilla then cursed herself mentally, I'm not in Jupiter, I have to stop being so formal.
"Awwww its a pleasure to meet you too!" She ruffled Camilla's hair. "So are you any good at this? I'm not any good at this." To demonstrate, she heaved that javelin at a hanging target. She missed the target so completely that it hit the target to the left.
Camilla shrugged, "I've only tried a few times and I guess I'm pretty good." She grabbed bother javelin and threw it. It landed near near the hawk's eye.
Justine cocked her head. "You've only tried it a few times?!? How'd you get the hang of it so easy?"
"Which nationalities?" Justine heaved the javelin ahead of her, and it shot straight into the dirt. She coughed as the dirt blew into her face. "I don't know who my daddy was, but he was black! And my mommy's Leaucothea, who is white."
Kaleb was so mind numbingly bored. All the all stars were hogging up the court like they were some big shots. Well they weren't. They were people who could throw an oversized stick. And that requires at least a speck of talent. Cursing, Kaleb picked up a javelin and heaved it at a random demigod. As the javelin approached the person's head, Kaleb controlled the wind around it so that it moved a millimeter away from the top of the demigod's head.
The demigod screamed and covered her face. As the javelin raced past her head, she sighed. "F*** YOU KALEB. F*** YOU." The girl flicked him off then continued throwing a stick. Kaleb fell down with laughter. "I will f*** me. As soon as I get out of here I guarantee you that will happen." Geena threw a helmet at his head, and he screamed in pain. "Man, the girls here suck." He looked at a new girl. "How long have you been standing there, love? That's a little creepy. I might have to tell Chiron that you've been watching me." He said in a mocking voice.
"Kaleb. Forgot my last name. So you watch people for fun? You must be fun at parties." He smirked. "So. You throw sticks?" He motioned at everyone throwing the javelins.
((sorry, watched season 2 of black butler))"It's not too hard. Any c*** can throw this." To demonstrate, he heaved the javelin at a target. To his shock, it missed completely. "WHAT."
