It looks as though Northanger Abbey won our February Genre Challenge poll! I've read this book before and didn't enjoy it enough for a re-read, so am thinking of reading the runner-up (The Rosie Project) instead. Would anyone like to buddy read this with me?

That's great, Danielle and Roseanne. I was planning to start 1st February, so just over a week away. I want to read The Book Thief first :)

works for me. I'm in.

Would you be interested in reading How To Think like Leonardo Da Vinci? I noticed it was on your to-read list.
Just a quick reminder, if the book you've nominated doesn't win for the group reads, you can always set up a buddy read for it!
Orlando was one of the suggested titles that did not win in the group poll this month. It's fairly short and interesting. Any interest in a Buddy Read out there?

I was thinking of setting up a general Game of Thrones series thread. Multiple people seem to be at different stages of reading them, and I thought it would be interesting to have a buddy read for the whole series, so everyone can chat about them.
Opinions? :)
Opinions? :)

This would be great! I am just battling my way through them now - will be reading part 2 of the third book sometime in June.
Hi, All! I'm planning to read Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides in June for the Contemporary Lit Challenge. Melissa expressed interest in doing a Buddy Read. Is anyone else interested in joining us?

I'm happy for either November or December! The first half of November will be rather busy for me (assessments eek!), but the second half should be a lot lighter.

I'm interested. I would have to confirm a little later in November though. December is exam season so a lot depends on how much I get done before (marking all the coursework before the final exam scripts descend)
