Amy | 106 comments How are you finding it, Gavin?

I'm currently reading Life after Life by Kate Atkinson and loving every page of it.

Kassandra | -1 comments Gavin, how are you finding The Casual Vacancy? I've been on the fence on whether to read it for quite a while and would love to hear your thoughts on it.

Easier to get into than I thought, at least from what I've heard about it. It is pretty slow, so I can get why some people couldn't get into it.

message 559: by Michael (new)

Michael (micky74007) just finished An Irish Love Story

I found it to be a really enjoyable little romance.

message 560: by Lucy (new)

Lucy Mason (lmason17) | 174 comments I have just managed to burst out of a terrible reading block! Got completely stuck on Vanished Kingdoms: The History of Half-Forgotten Europe, finding it a bit too dense and academic to hold my interest, despite good subject matter. Decided to just put it aside for a while and focus on more fun reads, so am kicking back into action with A Creed for the Third Millennium for this month's Dystopia genre read!

Lucy, well done for getting past the reading block! I know how you feel!!

message 562: by Kassandra (new)

Kassandra | -1 comments I'm reading The Kings of Cool, which has been on my TBR for a while. It's surprising me so far and looks like it will be a pretty quick read.

message 564: by Amber (new)

Amber (amberterminatorofgoodreads) I'm reading Earthlingsand its pretty good so far. It's my first read and review ebook request I've gotten with illustrations in it. I can't wait to read more and finish Kingdom Keepers 7 and stuff too.

message 565: by Valentina (new)

Valentina S (autumnsongg) I'm reading Invisible Monsters by Mr. Chuck Palahniuk. As it happened back when I read Fight Club, the first 50 pages were completely crazy and I couldn't say if I liked it or not. But I fell in love with Fight Club and I'm waiting for that moment when I'll start to understand what the real story is! Hahah :)
But I like Palahniuk's style so I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

Right now, I'm reading The Resurrection Club by Christopher Wallace. I'm only 15 pages in, but I'll report back soon. :)

Currently enjoying Medea, by Euripides. I only really picked it because it's short and I'm still horrendously behind on my challenge!

Still waiting for book 5, but until then I want to read the others so I can start it right away. :)

message 597: by Amber (new)

Amber (amberterminatorofgoodreads) I am currently reading Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm and The Fire Wish and they are both pretty good reads so far as ebooks. I hope to finish them soon before I start the Finisher by David Baldacci I got from Barnes and Noble in September.
