This is the conclusion to the Hyde trilogy. The last half was pretty good but it did take a minute to get there. Kudos to Ms. Stewart though for coming up with such a unique idea. Mitch has really come full circle since book 1 and I absolutely adore Landon. You couldn't ask for a better friend to have in your corner. I do feel things were left a little unfinished. Although the author has made it clear she'll write more from this world just not in Eden and Mitch's POV.

This one gets a 4 for the story and 5 for the emotional roller coaster. I was a sobbing mess!!!
Don't really want to say too much because you really need to read the story as it unfolds or it just won't have the correct impact.
The story begins as all Kitty Katt stories do, bad guys trying to take over the AC population and particularly Kitty's daughter Jamie, and the ACs fighting back. However, things take a turn for the worst, and keep going bad from there.
On a side note, we finally get the explanation for the AC Elves, known as the Operations Team.
The Mastermind is in full swing, can Kitty save the day?
OK, just Jennifer left for Shelves: 5 Stars and *First, Second, Third form last week.Does my Reader's Choice book need to be a paranormal book? I finished A Seaside Christmas last night(maybe early this morning, it might have been a few minutes after midnight)
I finished Angels' Blood just now, review to come in a few minutes.

A very good hunter, Ellie, is hired by the feared archangel, Raphael, to hunt down another degenerating archangel, Uram. She was born able to smell the differences between vampires and has been disinherited by her family because of it. During the hunt, she is both afraid and attracted to Raphael at the same time.
I liked the way the characters interacted with each other. Even though Raphael is stronger than her and could force her to do whatever he wants, he usually convinces her rather than using compulsion. I like that she can stand up to him in spite of her fear and attraction. She gradually wins over some of his protectors as well.
I really liked the twist at the end of the book. Although I think I enjoy the Psy-Changleing series a little more, I am looking forward to more books in this series as well.
Week 6: 8/12/13
Shelf: Supernatural
10/12/13 ★★★★★
This is a book with lots of books and libraries, vamps & a smart, compassionate heroine with no kick-ass abilities. I loved it. Who doesn't want to work in libraries, surrounded by books.
The story starts slow and there is a long build-up of sexual tension, that never really goes away. The love between the H and h is jumping off the page, but both of them are in denial.
The mystery is important but not all consuming and will be solved over the course of the series. The world building is great.
Really looking forward to the next book.
Sandra wrote: "Has anyone heard from Jennifer lately?"Haven't heard from her lately. She is usually quiet on the thread, but doesn't usually miss both books in the week.
Sandra wrote: "I haven't but I will if TC hasn't already done so. Have you TC?"No I haven't. I have been having issues with my Internet the past couple of days.

I don't think I would of enjoyed this as much if it weren't for the show. That being said I prefer the way the big "thing" went down in the book vs season 1. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the characters in their "rawer" form. Too bad Deb doesn't drop the f bombs in the book the way she does on the show lol. I will continue on though now that the show is over and I so love these characters. I did enjoy seeing a darker Dexter than on the show.

The first part of the book has pirates kidnapping the heroine with her doing as much as she can to stall until her rescuers can show up. Then one of the injured kidnappers who gets away comes after her to get revenge. I liked that the heroine was strong and capable and could help protect herself. The relationship building between the hero and heroine could have been written better. It seemed to be very jumpy to me, but I did enjoy the book and am reading the rest of the series.

I'm reading Love is fear for the supernatural shelf I'm on the app so can't link the book. No word from Jennifer?
Still no word, and she hasn't been on GR for some time. So, its possible she has computer probs or her RL is acting up.
I'm almost done with my supernatural book. In the event UF gets called today *hoping Sandra put the mojo on Mr. R* I have a uf book lined up and will start ASAP :)
OK, Jennifer hasn't been in touch so I'm offically removing her from the game :(Therefore TC needs to request stamps for shelves that Jennifer was the holdup for.
Off to post shelves.
So, Mr R must of been listening to you Jenne ;)Shelf #13 ~ 15/12/13: 'Magic'

Jenne, looking at our Bingo Card, you need to read/review your Supernatural book as well as the UF book.
I have 20% left of supernatural shelf, and I'll be bouncing back n forth of the audio and kindle of my UF book. I'll be done with both late tonight or early tomorrow am.
Posted for the 3 shelves completed without Jennifer and read the first chapter on my break. I hope to finish my book late tonight, but it depends how much I can get read in the 2 hours between work and when I have to leave to go to a play tonight. I am not sure how long I will be able to stay awake reading after the play before falling asleep. I will definitely be done by early tomorrow morning. I am an early riser (usually between 5 and 6) and like to lay in bed and read for awhile before getting up.
