We should make a little mark to know which November books have been turned in as Ninja Task books!I'll try to log on to M. Mango in a bit and update the list and add something so we know... if work will calm down. So much to do, short week, and deadlines looming!

Updated the three tracking posts again. We are halfway through the title list, but we only have five more author spots to fill - P, Q, U, X and Z!Does anyone have a #7 in a series book to read in the next few days? ;)
Yes, I'm working on The Book of the Dead which is Pendergast #7. I'm slowed at the moment by both a vehicle accident and closing on a new house. Between the two it seems every time I open a book the phone rings.
Oh no! Accident!!! What happened?Closing on a new house is a good thing though, right? Albeit, a major hassle. Ick to mortgages and closing costs and fees and down payments, but yay to new houses!
Oh, that's one of my favorite Pendergasts. I love Diogenes, I love the characters that return in that one, and I love the Egyptian theme!!!

And yes, what Steven said about closing on a new house -- lots of hassles but exciting to move into a new place.
My husband and I with our daughter-in-law and granddaughter were sitting at a red light waiting for a left turn arrow when we were hit from behind by a vehicle traveling at highway speed. That car had already hit one other so that slowed it some. We are all okay. Love those rear-facing car seats. I was looking at the baby singing to her at the time of impact and saw how well it protected her. Our vehicle didn't do as well as we did but is fixable.
Monsieur Mango wrote: "Updated the three tracking posts again. We are halfway through the title list, but we only have five more author spots to fill - P, Q, U, X and Z!"I have an X author on my list for this month, but I don't know if I'll get to the book before Sunday.
Evana wrote: "My husband and I with our daughter-in-law and granddaughter were sitting at a red light waiting for a left turn arrow when we were hit from behind by a vehicle traveling at highway speed. That car..."Thank goodness everyone is okay!!!
I have a P author coming up soon. Maybe I'll bump him up. It's a new-to-me author and a netgalley. Obligation read. Yikes. :P
Just a heads up - after my series #4 read, I've got a Series #11 - Judgement in Death by j D Robb.Can anyone fill in the #10 ?
We can put my Dead in the Family by Charlaine Harris in the #10 spot and replace where it is now with The Sookie Stackhouse Companion that I finished today! YAY!!!
Haven't gotten that far yet. Still have Dead Reckoning, Deadlocked, and Dead Ever After to read first!
Sure hope M. Mango can keep up with all this swapping around of books LOL Remember though - we need to *finish reading these by the time the mods do the Sunday update in order to count toward our team total. We'll still have almost another whole week to finish our November challenge, but anything we finish after Sunday won't count for our total.

Eeeeek! Glad you are all alright, but let's see how you feel tomorrow.

Closing on a new house - I am on my way there too. Just got the go ahead from the bank yesterday, now we have to look at the house again, make our offer and then see if the seller will accept the offer. My first time ever buying and it is scary.
@ Sallie, thinking of you and your husband.

Finished The Moon Of Gomrath by Alan Garner 170 pages. Approved in post 858 in pagenumbers.it is a number 2 in a trilogy.
Update - 11/13 finished Her Fearful Symmetry, by Audrey Niffenegger, 406 pagesIt doesn't fit anywhere that hasn't already been 'claimed,' so I'll put it in the author name list under 'A'
Finished Dead Is the New Black by Marlene Perez 11/13. It can go in the title P spot. If Steven wants to put his book in the P spot, then my book can go in the series #1 spot.
I'm not sure which book of mine would go in the P slot! I finished Magic Strikes by Ilona Andrews. Excellent third in a series. No clue where to put it as #3, M title, and I and A authors are all taken!
Actually we could put Barb' s Flat Water book by Ron Irwin in the F title, move Ian Rankin book to the R author, and slap my Magic Strikes into the I author slot. Now that is some convoluted shake up just to fit a book!
But then my Fatal Funnel Cake, that I'm almost done with, won't fit anywhere ROFL I'm kidding of course, M. Mango can move anything anywhere and it'll be fine :)
Finished Wicked Beat. 399 pages. finished 11/14.Series: #4 of The Sinners on Tour.
Now working on Judgement in Death which is series #11 and
The Duke and I by Julia Quinn which will fit AUTHORS: Q
These will probably be my last two books for the Tower TEam Challenge.(Sniff)
It feels weird seeing that, Lisa! It's been a long time doing this challenge so it'll be strange not doing it! But LK said they weren't planning on closing the sister group for Round II so we can continue to check in and play our chain game etc there!
Barb, I know! :)
I'm reading a #7 now, and depending on Evana, might finish it first. But we can use it in the V title spot too.
Update: 11/14 - finished The Fatal Funnel Cake, by Livia J. Washburn, 304 pages, #8 in seriestitle section: F (all the others are taken!)
Finished The Hunger Games which only works in our challenge as an additional #1.Also this morning I finished The Book of the Dead by Preston and Child for that #7 slot in the series list. Really liked this one. Now I have to find a copy of #8.
Evana wrote: "Finished The Hunger Games which only works in our challenge as an additional #1.Also this morning I finished The Book of the Dead by Preston and Child for that #7 slot..."
Yeah, Book of the Dead is great! The next two are kinda blah. :( :( :(
And I *HATE* the beginning of book #9. HATE.
Steven wrote: "Actually we could put Barb' s Flat Water book by Ron Irwin in the F title, move Ian Rankin book to the R author, and slap my Magic Strikes into the I author slot. Now that is some convoluted shake..."
You can also move the Ian Rankin book to the series #16 slot. It is Inspector Rebus #16.

I thought I read somewhere that you had a book to start that would fit. Maybe I was wrong.
Finished I Am Nujood, Age 10 and Divorced by Nujood Ali 11/14. I was thinking it could go in the I title spot, but it could be put in the A or N author spots, whatever works.
*see message #115 above* :DSteven wrote: "I have a P author coming up soon. Maybe I'll bump him up. It's a new-to-me author and a netgalley. Obligation read. Yikes. :P"
I hate to say it, team, but I'm slowing down with my reading lately. Maybe I've just been picking duds, or maybe I'm getting burned out on reading, but it's really hard to get motivated to read right now. What lousy timing :(
Considering you've read the most in our group I'm not surprised. You've more than done your bit, Barb. We all probably will need a reading break after the challenge ends, ... and come back all refreshed for Tower Teams 2014, lOL.
Lisa - (Aussie Girl) wrote: "We all probably will need a reading break after the challenge ends"I have something like 20 books I 'need' to read by the end of the year to finish the challenges I'm involved in. That wouldn't be too bad if I didn't have a lot of new releases coming from the library right now too!
Next year, I've got to be more selective about which challenges I join *sigh*
