but sometimes i think if percy had fought that monster and brought bianca back that nico would have stayed and admited he was gay to percy and it would have all bin fine i mean come on we all know he could defeat the monster he defeated the lord of the titans. who agrees?

My name is actually Nico in real life and I'm gay. I was dating this guy for three months and I loved him.. He was my first boyfriend and it was amazing. But today he dumped me. He had just been messing with me for fun and he didn't really like me. It was a JOKE. And he said some pretty nasty things to me...

Natalie, my point isn't that having children is the only way to be selfless.
My point is that you should be open to the different kinds of selflessness that come with different kinds of love. If you're not open to the *possibility* of having a family, you're throwing the only unique selfless part of a romantic relationship in the garbage and missing the point.
If love doesn't have a real definition, and is just "different" (or whatever we want) for anyone, then I will never respect that or treat it seriously or important.
You never gave an example of a uniquely selfless part of a gay relationship. In fact, you are outright saying love isn't about being selfless. And these are the grounds on which I refuse to respect these relationships as "equal" to the love between a husband and wife. (neither do I respect any equally selfish "straight" relationships either, for the record).
You steal words, change definitions and try to ride coat tails by being vague and confusing the word love. In the end, you're just playing games that try to masquerade as important under the label "love" which you have just admitted means nothing (according to you).

I'm still waiting for somebody to give ONE example of ANYTHING unselfish about a romantic gay relationship that they did not steal from the other types of love.
