OKAY I know I'm impatient but I'll try to withstand it. I mean I looked at the book and there are PICTURES :D Maybe it won't be so bad after all. I'll try really hard okay? Even if my eyes glaze over and my head is nodding I'll still shine a light at my face and read. Because I may be impatient but I'm also determined. And I did say that I would give it until page 160 but now I won't give it a limit anymore. I'll read it until I'm done even if I die of boredom trying. Haaaapppyy?? I completely agree with you on this (and with Sherman Alexie).
Just the other day, I watched The Breakfast Club and was talking about it with my dad. We got onto the topic of it's rating after I mentioned that it's the 2nd R-rated movie I've ever seen. Now, I'm 14 and I know people who have seen R-rated movies since late elementary school. Suddenly, he was really mad that I had seen it when just moments ago he had been asking if I liked it and saying that he thought it was a good movie. He thought I needs to be 17 to see it and that everyone is incapable of rating movies correctly (my mom's reaction was that there were other R movies "that show way more skin" than the two I've seen [the other being Shakespeare in Love, which is rated for a tiny sex scene]). Now, I'm pretty sure the only thing The Breakfast Club is rated R for is the language and possibly some of the stories the kids share about their home life. Knowing this, all I could do was look at him with utter disbelief and try to piece together all of my reactions into a few comprehensible sentences. The result (a few days too late) are as follows: every single cuss word out of any character's mouths I have heard out of my father's mouth since elementary school, I've been reading about situations very like the kids for almost as long (late elementary school), and have been in situations very like Andy's (expected to be the best) by my father for almost as long as I can remember. And my dad has the audacity to say that I'm not old enough to be watching that movie?!

I have a 3 page essay to conduct, a quest (quiz/test) on Wednesday, another quiz on Friday, 2 presentations tomorrow and a quiz tomorrow, math homework/science homework/history homework today DUE TOMORROW, ANOTHER test on Thursday or Wednesday ( I'm not even sure) and a lot of homework I don't even know about ALL IN ONE WEEK. I have no time to be social
