Haha H99-ie. XD Seriously though, Hades just can't deal with the fact that Persephone rejected him. It makes me think that Nico won't be able to deal with the rejection :( What if he kidnaps Percy and then starts a war... Nope, never mind. Percy would never allow himself to be kidnapped. But then again, Nico tricked him into coming to Hades's palace.. Oh dear. What if Rick recreates the myth of Hades and Persephone but with Nico and Percy..?
I too was also surprised that Rick put something like that in one of his books. When i read that part I kind of felt a bit uncomfortable.

Persephone didn't love Hades back. Why else did he need to kidnap her? If she loved him she would have gone willingly to the Underworld to be with him. But I think you mean that over time, as she stayed in the Underworld, she eventually began to fall in love with him.

That depends on what people want.. If they want an intelligent person as a leader then get Athena. If they want a peaceful leader, then Hestia is the one. If they want an aggressive and brutal leader, then get Ares (but don't kid yourselves, no one wants him).
If you ask me Hera/Juno should be leader.......PSYCH! Okay, ya that goddess drives me freaking mad!

artemis is a hunter and a maiden she is not meant for leader ship she is meant to be free. athena is TO LOGICAL sevisly she will make the smartest choice but without emontion which is ensentil.
hestria is to quiet to be a leader can you see her keeping the family together?

A moody god? Technically, all the gods are "moody" with their Greek/Roman aspects battling it out. Hmm...yes I can see interfering with Athena, but Zeus is bias towards ALL demigods? That's gotta count for something.

None of the gods are good leaders. But if I HAD to pick one then I'd choose Artemis. She was the only one who brought up good points during the council in the Titans Curse. Also, Zoe Nightshade said that the gods wouldn't decide on anything if Artemis wasn't there. She seems very rational and I don't think she would be biased.

Well it's not like they have to make decisions everyday. It's during the council that they make decisions so Artemis could just come during the council. I'm sure Artemis has the time to come, she's immortal. Artemis would be the most rational, level-headed leader.

in my opinion the best choice is zeus all others have some problem with it if I had to chose anyone besides zeus I don't know

29 of January 1314So the king, my father is dead oh how I wish I could have been by his side as he died. He was off hunting elk in the black forest of the south where snow is just starting to melt and drip between the dark black branches. It was there that I caught my first deer. This time he went with only his advisers so I could continue to study with my grandfather, the king before him it is our tradition to once a man turned 60 he shall be replaced by his son. I shall know be king. King John the seventh named after the who gave this kingdom light again after talking with the gods. But I am only 18 how will I stride to take the throne? Only Nyx the god of darkness knows.
1st of February 1314
The ceremony is planned how it usually goes out is that the king gives his crown to his son and the priest of the temple comes out to wave the branch of darkness at the ceiling causing it to show the constellations in wonderful detail as well as show where the stars where for the past 5 generation from that he blesses you and tells you what he glimpse in the future this will tell you 3 things one how well you are revived by the people and see if any rebellions 2 when you shall have a son and last one is how you will be remembered. This is planned to happen on the start of light in other words spring. All ready people are turning from all other to the capital Vasto a bustling trading town. I remember sneaking out to talk to the traders. Ahhh the stories they would tell some of them from England. Luckily because of my training to be king I learnt to speak a variety of languages and was able to have conversations with the sailors and the traders. The spices they use to sell filled the air and made it wonderful to breath.
15th of February 1314
Today I was nearly assassinated! It happened today at lunch when someone brought me my daily grapes from the mountains. It is bountiful up there and the air is saturated with the smell of fruit being packed into baskets and has a beautiful view of the port below. Anyway I was about to have one when one of my workers dropped dead right there in front of me. It turned out that someone used the poison of the mountain where it can only be found in a glowing cave a mixture of blood and crystal makes a poison that makes their mind empty allowing for messages to be planted this takes a lot of planning because it only lasts 5 seconds before it fills again. I must find out who planned this because it looks like the same person who planned this planned the murder of my father! I will find who did this at any cost.
20th of February 1314
They found the person who organised the assassination. It turned out it was my brother. This made me sad that I had to execute him I did it with the family long sword. This made me think about how even your own brother will kill you and your father for power this requires some more thought…
28th of February 1314
The ceremony failed!!!! Everything was going as planned until the part about how I will be remembered than the priest said I can only see darkness like you won’t be remembered. Than the whole city erupted. Rebellions abound and I only just survived. So this is why he saw nothing I won’t be remembered for this empire I will have to start a new empire I will have to start somewhere new down south somewhere. My focus for now is to survived with what little people I have left.
