Funny I don't remember there being a shipping rule that says our ships have to be realistic. It's really just for us and our imagination, anybody else can just shut it. Nobody ever said Leo was gay, now can we please all mind our own business? Sick of all this crap people like to give to others, "oh your ship is wrong." Or "Percabeth is the only valid ship".. Well no, it's not. A ship can be anything the reader damn well wants it to be. I've seen people ship jason with the freaking brick so give it a rest.
And by the way, I never recall Leo saying that he was completely straight.. So since it is not eliminated as a possibility it's still a completely rational ship. Even shipping nico with a girl is rational because he never specified if he was completely gay. Again I reiterate: let's all mind our own business on what character relationships would tickle somebody's fancy.
I don't support gay Rights, But I wont stop reading this book over something so small.
I did consider Leo and Nico but we all know that Leo is probably the last person to like boys but i guess it could happen. i will go down with this ship. there will be one last flag above my head?? don't exactly remember how the song goes

Ships are all about personal opinion, they do not have to be canon or realistic. They are ENTIRELY up to the reader. You are surely entitled to your own opinion, but you do not have authority to tell somebody that their ship is "wrong".
And jj.. I don't believe the Percy Jackson series even has that much blood. I mean, when they stab monsters they turn to dust.

I hate basketball, doesn't mean I hate basketball players and wish they'd all be unhappy with their choice of athletic activity. Um no. Nico says that he doesn't want to COME OUT as gay because he is afraid of what people say. He never said he didn't want to be gay, he's just AFRAID of being gay. Learn the difference. And Nico can't help that he is gay. He can't help his feelings for Percy. He's not going against what he wants to do. He's just afraid of openly stating his feelings.

Yeah, nico never said he didn't want to be gay. He didn't want to have a crush on Percy because he still considered him to be responsible for Bianca's death. He also didn't want to come out because he says nobody has ever accepted him.

This shows that he hated Percy, but couldn't hurt him because of his feelings for him.

Again, he hated that he had a crush on Percy because he blamed him for his sister's death. He hates himself for having feelings for Percy, not because he was gay, which he doesn't say anywhere.

When did I say that your "non-shipping" is wrong? You don't have to have ships, but I think it's pretty rude to criticize other people for having ships or because you don't agree with or like their ships. Ships do not have to be canon, there is no "right" or "wrong" ship as they are all based on the reader's opinions. You'll never find me telling anybody who they should or shouldn't ship, so no, I'm not a hypocrite.

An adult to me is someone over 18. I don't go with the whole adult means mature because a 10 year old can be super mature but they're not a adult. A 20 year old can be super immature but they are still an adult to me because of their age. Also I think an adult is a fully grown person. But this is just my definition. There's a lot of definitions to the word adult ^^
