Blogger Girl *smirks* but not close enough *chuckles* that word is soooo funny

Lol I dated this one boy at 12 years old but we broke up 2 days later. It wasn't even serious. At 13 I dated a boy for 2 months. I liked him a lot but unfortunately it didn't work out and I'm still too young. Right now I'm dateless and happy that way. In my entire life I've had 6 boys like me, 5 rejected, 1 I went out with (the one when I was 12). And I've liked one boy and I went out with him (the one when I was 13). I've liked another but he rejected me :( Why am I talking about my life lol. Like H99 said, we're unleashing our true selves! :D

Cherie Man... Trying to list my favorite rise against songs is difficult. Well I think my favorite would be the approaching curve It's probably the song that made me fall in love with Tim mcilrath. Just listening to his voice telling the story and his use of imagery is so relaxing. Then I would say the good left undone, survivor's guilt, hero of war, drones, survive, paper wings, midnight hands.... I could go on. I just love everything by them :p

Yeah I went and although I was in the seats (not the ground level where people stand) there were these annoying drunk girls behind me who kept spilling their beer on us. (Not enough to ruin my night)...

message 1305: by [deleted user] (new)

Wait so you're 15, H99? Or 14? I'm confused. I meant that post for Yubrine but I accidentally said H99 but then you responded and now I'm having a brain fart.

message 1306: by Cherie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Cherie @h99 ... Hm 16? I don't know, I was trying to go through the thread to get a clue... Haha it's just a guess :p

That must suck. not that I've had any experiences with drunk people

message 1308: by [deleted user] (new)

Lol I was still 12. I just thought it was cool to have a boyfriend and and I picked a random guy from the few who liked me. Yeah I know I'm so rude xD I still feel bad for him to this day.

message 1309: by [deleted user] (new)

No you're 15 H99! I think..

message 1310: by Blogger (new) - rated it 5 stars

Blogger Girl @h99,13.5?

message 1311: by Cherie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Cherie So.. I'm the oldest here? :p haha

message 1312: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes Cherie so many beautiful songs ! I finally know someone who loves them. All my friends are like "Rise who?" when I tell them my favorite band.

message 1313: by Cherie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Cherie :p I've gotten so many people into rise against... Every time somebody says "oh I've never heard of them" I make them a list of songs for them to listen to...

If somebody says "oh I don't like them" or "they're alright" .... Well why the heck do I wanna talk to them anyways ;) haha that's a way to end a friendship right there.

message 1314: by [deleted user] (new)

Haha xD I should do that too. No one listens to my recommended list of songs :( They're like "yeah yeah I'll listen to it later" and in their case later is NEVER :(

message 1315: by Blogger (new) - rated it 5 stars

Blogger Girl @h99 is leaving us hanging. I like ke$ha even though she's kinda yeah. Sorry my music tastes aren't as interesting as yours @Cherie and @Avalon

message 1316: by Cherie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Cherie Oh my gosh!!!!!! Blogger!!!!!! I'm gonna ignore you even said that.... Boo! Ke$ha is a freaking disgrace to music. >=\

message 1317: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't wanna seem like I'm disrespecting your taste but Ke$ha can't really sing she uses auto tune. Lol I'm more into rock and techno or dubstep. Especially rock. The songs leave such an impact on me because the lyrics are so deep.

message 1318: by Cherie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Cherie Sorry... But ke$ha is probably my least favorite person in the music industry, even surpassing Miley Cyrus.

message 1319: by [deleted user] (new)

Hold up Ke$ha is not as low as Miley Cyrus. Cyrus is in the bottom of the bottom (with Nicki Minaj). Ke$ha is like at the surface of the bottom. Okay what am I saying this is probably giving you a brain fart.

message 1320: by Cherie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Cherie Yeah I'm not trying to disrespect your taste either.... But ke$ha is just gross. Not even to mention that she can't sing and the lyrics make me want to puke... Grr

Funny thing to mention, my boyfriend likes to bring up ke$ha to make me mad when we're discussing music. Haha works every time... I can't control my hatred of ke$has music

message 1321: by [deleted user] (new)

I can't control my hatred when it comes to Nicki Minaj or Miley Cyrus. I just go into a rage, I can't. Why are the most popular singers the most horrible. I want to scream every time I hear Nicki Minaj O__O

message 1322: by Blogger (new) - rated it 5 stars

Blogger Girl Nicki and Miley are okay. their attitude is what makes so many people hate them (well Miley). Katy and Rihanna, Beyoncé, Adele, And Kelly Clarkson are also very good. well I like them too *covers eyes from the glares*

message 1323: by Cherie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Cherie @avalon You've got a point there... But I don't know.. Something about Kesha's voice makes me want to punch a baby. (Not literally, don't worry :p)

message 1324: by Cherie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Cherie I'm not much for pop... I'm more of a rock/metal gal myself.

message 1325: by [deleted user] (new)

OH MY GOSH YUBRINE! Did you say that NICKI MIFREAK and MILEY CYRETCH are okay? What is your definition of "okay?" I hope it means "bad." Minaj can't sing. Cyrus is just.. Oh dear where do I even start? I agree with Kelly Clarkson and Adele and Katy Perry (kinda, ehh) and Beyoncé having good voices (although I don't even listen to them). But Minaj and Cyrus are completely different. I have never wanted to hurt someone so bad (I'm a non violent person) but when I hear those two people I want to throw my phone across the room. Lol I've done that once though.

message 1326: by [deleted user] (new)

When you wrote Katy for a second I thought Katy Joy and then I got happy but then I realized you meant Katy Perry.. Hey Cherie do you listen to Evanescence?

message 1327: by Blogger (new) - rated it 5 stars

actually the only reason you hate Miley right now is for her attitude and the way she dresses. if she was Miley from 2009, you'll still like her. I bet you liked Party in the U.S.A *gloats*

message 1328: by [deleted user] (new)

Damn now I feel bad for Yubrine, I've been disrespecting her tastes even though I said "I don't mean to disrespect your tastes but..." Is that an oxymoron? And sorry Yubrine!

message 1329: by Blogger (new) - rated it 5 stars

Blogger Girl *shrug* I don't care. sometimes I like country and some other weird music back in the '90s and 80's. I know my music taste is bad so I never tell anyone who I listen too

message 1330: by [deleted user] (new)

I never liked Party in the U.S.A. I never liked Cyrus's songs. When I was little I listened to rock while my friends listened to Cyrus. I was the oddball (and proud!) I never had anything against Cyrus either until she became that tongue lashing person she is now. Then I became horrified. Have you seen the video for wrecking ball? My eyes were bleeding and crying at the same time.

message 1331: by [deleted user] (new)

You have a variety of tastes. That's pretty good ! I can't listen to anything unless it's rock/metal or techno/electric or house or dubstep.

message 1332: by Blogger (new) - rated it 5 stars

Blogger Girl Avalon wrote: "I never liked Party in the U.S.A. I never liked Cyrus's songs. When I was little I listened to rock while my friends listened to Cyrus. I was the oddball (and proud!) I never had anything against C..."

ehhhh...I've seen worst. I think. The tongue licking is pretty gross but I don't hate. maybe because I don't like hating people but she's not that bad. all she has to do is trim off that act

message 1333: by Blogger (new) - rated it 5 stars

Blogger Girl well i gotta go now. my dad is glaring at me cuz I've been here for 3 hours. *guilty mode*. See ya Nutties ^_^

message 1334: by Cherie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Cherie @avalon... I used to but not so much anymore. I've never been a big fan of female vocalized bands. I like paramore, but they're not one of my favorites. I like indie rock, alternative rock, punk, hard rock, metal, metal core, heavy metal, etc. Avenged sevenfold, trivium, five finger death punch, bullet for my valentine, imagine dragons, blink 182, sick puppies, the killers, muse, Coldplay, Metallica, Aerosmith..... I like pretty much all rock. :p haha

message 1335: by [deleted user] (new)

Avenged Sevenfold! Sick Puppies (I just love their name)! Coldplay! Metallica! Imagine Dragons are alright to me. I like Evanescence. Paramore was awesome until they changed. Then I stopped liking them. Oh my gosh do you like Three Days Grace?
And okay see you Yubrine even though you're probably gone now..

message 1336: by Cherie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Cherie Yes!! Do you like taking back Sunday?

message 1337: by Cherie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Cherie Imagine dragons have had some really good songs and I really respect the band, they seem like such great people. Plus I love the singer's voice ^_^ thy are new though, so I'm looking forward to hearing more from them.

message 1338: by [deleted user] (new)

I've heard of Taking Back Sunday but I never got the chance to hear them. You should list me a few songs and I'll listen to them tomorrow.
And Imagine Dragons are alright, I like a few songs but I'm not really a big fan. My favorite bands are Three Days Grace, Rise Against, The Offspring, and Thousand Foot Krutch.
I know you said you don't listen to female vocalized bands but have you heard of Halestorm?

message 1339: by Cherie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Cherie Man.... I used to listen to thousand foot crutch all the time back when I was christian... (I mean when I was a church going, bible thumping Christian so like 8 or 7 years ago) them and switch foot, reliant k, and some other bands I've long since forgotten.

Not a big offspring fan, but I like some of their stuff...

Yeah I'll make you a list... I've actually met taking back Sunday ^_^ I have all the members autographs. How do you feel about the killers? I can make you a list of them too... (They are one of my favorites)

message 1340: by [deleted user] (new)

Wow you have their autographs! :O And yes also give me a list of The Killers music xD I know it's weird how I'm an atheist but I listen to TFK. I just like the beat of it. When I first heard of them I didn't think they were a Christian band lol. But I really like Phenomenon (TFK song), the lyrics are motivating. I'm also interested in learning about other religions. I've read the Bible and the Quran so far... I want to try to find time to read the Torah.

message 1341: by Cherie (new) - rated it 5 stars

Cherie Evanescence I believe is also a Christian group. ;) irony. Haha nothing wrong with it, it's good music. Yeah I'll make that list soon, but it might hve to wait until my finals are done

That's cool! Is that why you're also into the Greek mythology? :p

I'm personally not much interested In religion except Buddhism and Hinduism I find to be fascinating. But I personally don't care much at all for any religious belief, I gave up my beliefs because they were inconsistent with scientific facts and they didn't hold up in the face of questioning.

message 1342: by [deleted user] (new)

I think this thread has been hijacked. :D

Yes. I totally agree with you. okay gotta go or i'll be late to my first period class. Crap i have SOOOOOOOOO much homework. L8tr Nutties :D))))

message 1344: by [deleted user] (new)

Okay I'll wait until your finals are done Cherie :) And yeah I knew that about Evanescence too. I'm REALLY interested in Greek mythology it's so unique. I literally know most of the Greek myths. Hinduism and Buddhism are interesting too. I'm just interested in comparing the religions to eachother. I became an atheist when I noticed how much religion changed what we do as people. I feel like it controls us in a way and then I noticed that there could be no religion at all. One day a person came and said something about a god and everyone has believed it for years. Things change over years. Okay I probably angered some people here. Sorry no disrespect to your religion people. I did say they were interesting.
And haha Brooke xD It's been hijacked in an awesome way !

message 1345: by [deleted user] (new)

See ya Yubrine. School starts in about 45 minutes for me !

message 1346: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh yeah and another reason is I'm the "gotta see it to believe it" type of person. The only evidence there is are the holy books and they could have changed over years.

message 1347: by Jake (new) - added it

Jake I love this book, and Nico is awesome. Rick Riordan is an even better author than I thought. Not only is he great at imagining characters and telling a story, he is also brave, writing in a gay character with the knowledge that half of his fans are going to be disgusted. Why is this a concept that kids shouldn't read about? It is the same thing as a man loving a woman. There is NOTHING wrong with it. Bravo, Nico, and bravo, Rick. You admitted it, Nico, when you know there are haters out there. And you made him (and Apollo, and a Wind Spirit) gay, Rick. If a character being different is enough to make you hate the books, then goodbye!

Thank you. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Cherie 2 finals down... One to go. ;) can't wait to be on winter break ^_^ it's so close!

@avalon, yeah I know what you mean. I began questioning my religious beliefs at 13 years old. Don't want to get much into it, I don't wanna start any religious debates on this thread (passions run high when people feel their beliefs are being insulted) you could message me about it if you ever want to talk about it...

I've always loved mythology though, I can't wait for ricks Norse series. :p

@kevin I actually meant between me and the people I was talking to yesterday. I didn't assume if be the oldest in the entire discussion. :p
