I finished reading Lolita the other day. What a difficult book to read. The writing was brilliant though.
All Quiet on the Western Front by Erich Maria Remarque. If they had to cut 1000 books off the 1001 list, this book would still be on it.
I finished a few from this list between this month and last! Lolita, The Turn of the Screw, Northanger Abbey, and In Cold Blood. I enjoyed all except the Turn of the Screw, which is only worth reading because it's short.

One of my top-10 all time reads. :)
