Finished my second reading of The Cider House Rules by John Irving. It's a great book. Also a good choice for a book club if your other members don't mind a long read. So much to talk about in this book.

One of my favorite books of all time! I once went to a reading (of another book) by John Irving and he‘s so nice too.

How did you like it?"

I liked it. At times it reminded me a little like a melody the way he repeated some of the words forwards and backwards. It was definitely deep the way he spoke about being sick and dying and the way people look at you when you are in a bed sick and dying like in a hospital room. And what it means to be sick and keep getting sicker until eventually you die. I don't know if that was what he was actually talking about but that's what my take away was.
