My favs of the Guild Hunter series are the ones with Elena and Raphael in them; although Dimitri's was good. for me they have been good reads and a series that I always gravitate to when there is a new release.

I have asked in the Discussion Board Thread if I can use
for my favorite since it's not really a story. I will let you know as soon as I get a response.
Sandra said the book would be fine. So I'm going to read The Midnight Breed Series Companion by Lara Adrian :) So excited!

Review: This was my first book from this author and I really, really liked this book. I was a good start to the series. I can't wait to read the other books and see how it ends. It was a different type of angels and demons book. I really liked all the characters especially Anna, Kai, and Patty. Within a few months Anna found out so much about herself that I thought she would lose her mind but she was strong. I'm cant wait to see what's going to happen next for her.
Week #8 ~ Favorite
Promises in Death by JD Robb
Finished: 9/5/15
Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥
Nora Robets, writing as JD Robb, has somehow produced this miracle of storytelling through her innate talent as a best-selling writer. I'm in awe of her imagination in coming up with such complex murder mysteries. The main characters, especially Homicide Lieutenant Eve and her billionaire husband, are so well developed and vivid, you feel like they are real people you know deeply and hope to meet. They have faults, integrity, fight, love deeply, and hurt just like the rest of us mere mortals. You root for them and feel strongly about their adventures and relationships, quests, and paths towards justice and finding love.
Hi All - Hope everyone had a great weekend and got lots of reading done! LOL!I did and changed my Favorite to
another of my favorite series. I forgot I had pre-ordered from Amazon and was excited when it arrived. Will update the 1st page.
WEEK 8 – FavoritesSeptember 2nd -
Title: A Red-Rose Chain by Seanan McGuire
Rating: ★★★★★
Read: September 02 to 05, 2015
# pages: 358 pages
Review: The October Daye series continues to be one of my top favorite series; almost an auto-buy for me. A Red-Rose Chain is full of intrigue and hidden agendas and Toby is once again thrust into a role that shouldn’t work for her; but ultimately does.
I loved that Tybalt and the entourage is back in full force with this one and they each have a role to play in their visit to the Kingdom of Silences. There are truly evil fae in this Kingdom and they are bent on destroying Toby and everyone she cares about. Griping to the end.
WEEK 7 – Urban FantasyAugust 26th -
Title: Immortal Ever After by Lynsay Sands
Rating: ★★★★
Read: August 26 to 30, 2015
# pages: 338 pages
Review: I often forget how entertaining the Argineau Vampire series can be, for some reason it one of those series that seems to fall beneath my radar.
Immortal Ever After is Valerie and Anders story and although you know that they will have their happily ever after (HEA) it was an enjoyable journey to get them there. Initially, I can’t say that I was an Anders fan; he was standoffish and withdrawn, but his evolution during the mating process was fantastic and we get a glimpse of this strong, alpha male is the way he is. Once he begins to trust that Valerie is his life mate that caring and tenderness he displaying just made me gooey inside and he turned out to be one of my favorite characters.
Wow that's awesome. My weekend was good but didn't get any reading done because I was cooking for most of it. I had company for the 2 days and of course the one day was for shopping :/ Never a dull moment. I'll been on a short vacation this Thursday to Monday so hoping to get some reading done. *crossing my fingers*

So these were both easier reads then some I have had.
Have fun on your mini-cation! I love those.
Hi ladies! We decided spur of the moment to go to visit family in NJ over the holiday - went to Atlantic City for the first time...it was awesome.Almost finished with MB Companion - I will definitely have it finished tomorrow and I'll write my review tomorrow evening.
Have a great time on your mini-cation, Carmen!!
Thanks Kim. I'm glad you had fun at Atlantic City. :DI'm hoping to be finished with my one of my books this week. I see we have a feline shifter this week. I have to check what I have in my ereader or I might have to borrow something fr the library.

Title: The Midnight Breed Series Companion by Lara Adrian
Rating: ★★★★★
Read: 9/9/15
Review:
AMAZING!!! A must read for any lover of The Midnight Breed series.
This book covers the first 10 books (Kiss of Midnight through Darker After Midnight) which consist of the original story arc.
Lara Adrian shares her world-building notes taken from her story "bible". A detailed summary of each of the books, a character guide, Q & A and trivia questions are also included. As an added bonus, we are finally able to read Gideon and Savannah's story, A Touch of Midnight.
The current and second story arc begins with Edge of Dawn, which features the offspring of the Order. With her new release, Bound to Darkness, hopefully she will continue to entertain us with this amazing series.
Ms. Adrian began writing the Midnight Breed series because she has always loved vampires. She states "...vampires were-and still are-my #1 monster of choice. What other supernatural creature inspires fear and desire in such equal measure? He is death and sex and limitless power, all rolled into one insatiable (usually gorgeous) package. Vampires represent the ultimate dark, erotic fantasy." I have to say - I could not agree more.
For the Meow shelf I'm going to read
but may end up switching because I struggled with the first book. As much as I love some hot & steamy action she was a little too wild for my taste. Hopefully it will get better or the story will become intense enough that I can overlook it since I own the entire series. I have
on standby just in case.
Hi ladies. I finished Week 7: - Urban Fantasy -

Review: Well Harry did it again and found some new information about his mother and his friend Thomas but of course there is always a crime that needs to be handled. This time black magic was invovled and the issue with the vampires too. I really love this series and Harry is a fun character and I wonder what will come up next now that there are more to team Harry.
Way to go Carmen! I requested our Urban Fantasy stamp. Also, I noticed we never received our Demon stamp - so I asked about that also.We have 2 shelves open as of now.

Week 9 ~ Meow!
Dead Ice by Laurell K Hamiltom
Finished: 9/15/15
Rating: ♥♥♥♥
Unlike the last few books, that focused on mostly on Anita's screwed up relationships or all the powers, it toned it down and also focused on her US Marshall job and her zombie raising job as well. It didn't feel like it was all sex or all action. For me, it felt like Hamilton managed to find a good balance this time. Hopefully this bodes well for the next few books.
Hi Ladies! I apologize for not checking in sooner - I have been so slack. I did finish the Meow shelf (read both books actually)...I will post my review later this afternoon.Crossing my fingers for Mr. Randomizer to pick a good shelf for us this week!!
Hi ladies. I'm also hoping that the next shelf is a good one but I have to say they've been pretty good so far.
I'm only about 30% done with my Meow book. Its an audiobook so it is taking a bit longer than reading.
The Meow shelf isn't a "winning shelf" for us so don't feel overly pressured, Sherri. I love audiobooks but they do take a lot longer than reading the book. My very first audiobook was Beautiful Creatures and I thought I would never get through that one.
Shelf - Meow!
Title: Kissing Sin by Keri Arthur
Rating: ★★★★
Read: 9/14/15
Review:
Kissing Sin was MUCH better than Full Moon Rising. Riley’s character is starting to develop and the storyline is picking up. I am still having trouble with the extreme casualness of her sexual escapades – even if it is just the way of the wolf – and that she does not mind telling anyone who will listen all about it.
Two new characters make their appearance in the story and keep Riley in a constant state of sexual desire. First is Kade, the very hot and extremely hung (yes this is mentioned several times in the description of his male assets) horse-shifter. Kade has endeared himself to Riley because he accepts her for who she is and never questions her lifestyle. The second is Kellan, the super sexy alpha-male werewolf who knows what he wants and is not afraid to take it. For reasons currently unknown, there is definitely bad blood between Quinn & Kellan, other than their desire for Riley. Could Kellan be her potential soul mate? I do not see her settling down any time soon.
I am going into Tempting Evil with much more enthusiasm than I had when I started reading this book. I am interested to see how the Quinn/Kade/Kellan relationship plays out.

Title: Kitty Goes to Washington by Carrie Vaughn
Rating: ★★★★
Read: 9/18/15
Review:
I really enjoyed this second book. Kitty has been doing her radio talk show from the road since she left her former pack. She has been summoned to Washington DC to testify as an expert witness at the Senate Committee Hearings regarding future funding for the Center for Paranatural Biology. While in Washington, she gains new allies, a few enemies and a sexy were-jag. I am looking forward to Kitty Takes a Holiday and I am hoping that the sexual undercurrent going on between her and Cormac is explored. A werewolf and a werewolf hunter would make for an exciting relationship in my opinion.

I am still loving the Guild Hunter's series. I just finished Angel's Dance with Jessamy and Galen ...God she can write a wonderful love story :)
I'm starting Angel's Judgment now and then I'll start on Archangel's Kiss...I already have it downloaded from my library and have put a hold on Archangel's Consort. I hope the story continues to be as good as it is now.
