Kristie | 5928 comments Hi everyone! It's time to nominate the book you want to read in November! Please use book links when possible so that it is easier for us to set up the poll at the end of the week. We don't want to miss your book! Nominations will be open for one week.

Link to books we've already read (please don't nominate these): http://www.goodreads.com/group/booksh...

Daphne Dresselaers (daphneleest) I would suggest Inferno, The Light Between Oceans or The Book Thief because I still have those laying around because one way or another I always start reading new series and sequels. It's time for a good oldfashioned stand-along

Edit: oops, we've already read the Book Thief. Nevermind about that one

Hi Jane - Sorry, but we can't have erotica as our BOTM. This is an all ages group and Goodreads does not allow us to list erotica as a group read unless we restrict our members to 18+.

If you are on the internet, there is an "add book/author" link at the top of the text box. You just click on that and do a search for your book. If you're on an app, there is no link. I added your links for you below. :)

message 27: by Antonio (new)

Antonio Capaldo | 11 comments "The Rabbit Culture"
Direct and vivid in its telling of the details of the adoption of a 7-year old boy from Romania after the collapse of Communism, the novel manages ultimately to deliver much more. Despite this story, I have been very lucky in my life … I had two wonderful parents, who, in their simplicity they taught me to love and respect Nature and its Laws. I have had satisfactory work experience both economically and professionally, first as a military pilot in the Italian Air Force, and now as a Fire fighting Pilot for the Civil Defence . I am not rich, but I can not complain .. I have everything I need. If you have the adventure to stumble upon this book and buy it, you can be sure that every cent will be used for the survival of the protagonist, my adoptive son ,when I’m gone. http://www.authorhouse.co.uk/Bookstor...

Kali Cramer I third Allegiant

Terry ~ Huntress of Erudition A Storm of Swords (A Song of Ice and Fire, #3) by George R.R. Martin

I know there is already a discussion thread for the series, but I will be starting to read the 3rd book in the Game of Thrones series in November and would like to nominate this for the November BOTM because I always need to say to someone "OMG, can you believe what happened now??!!" when I am reading thses books...

message 36: by Mehr (new)

Mehr I recommend 'The Shadow of the Wind" by Carlos Ruis Zafon. I picked it up randomly in a bookstore and it turned out to be one of the most beautifully written books I've read. Its sequel has also just come out. I'm on an app so can't add a link but The Shadow of the Wind is on good reads and you can take a look at some of the reviews for an idea of the plot.

message 37: by Kayt (new)

Kayt Peck | 2 comments The Kiva and the Mosque provides an alternate view of humanity in transition with magic interwoven into daily realities for two people reluctantly accepting the role of modern day prophets. The flavor and spice of this book is about action and adventure, but the meat is about hope for a troubled world.

message 38: by Mehr (new)

Mehr I would also recommend "How to get filthy rich in Rising Asia" by Mohsin Hamid. I've heard interesting reviews about the way this novel is written, and also because I've to read it for a book club meeting end of this month.

message 39: by Mehr (new)

Mehr Just read reviews for The Kiva and the Mosque. sounds interesting so I would second Kayt's recommendation.
