I'm reading Black Cat, after checking volumes 6-11 out from the library. I love Sven - he and Eve are adorable.

I am currently reading Black Bird, Vol. 6 and am picking some more volumes from this series from the library tomorrow.

I just started Black Bird, and I'm not sure how I'll like the series, although I have the second volume with me now.

I hope Misao becomes more developed and doesn't stay helpless. I think it's a bit unfair that the demons get all the glory, but at the same time, I want to see if Kyo's able to justify his semi rapey actions and if he really loved Misao instead of just wanting her for social status.

I just finished Black Bird, Vol. 9 and there are some great bonus chapters through the series so far as well. I think that if you keep reading the series you will like Kyo better.

It's not that I hate Kyo - I don't. I just feel like Misao could put a better fight.
But since I started it, Misao's beginning to have a bit more of a character and she's fighting back and stuff. She falls in love with Kyo quickly, but I can hardly blame her because, I mean, come on. I'm enjoying it so far, and I have the rest of the manga at my house. :D

Elizabeth, I haven't even read the other comments yet because as soon as I read yours about xxxholic kei being called a "sequel" to xxxholic I had to respond. I recently finishef xxxholic & the ending broke my heart. Then, I read there is a sequel called xxxholic kei(I think that is the title). So naturally I get all excited thinking maybe I will at least get a little closure. I immediately read it & nothing about it was a sequel! I scoured the internet for more information but it seems everyone who read it was confused. Such a confusing let down. Anyway I am currently reading Tsubassa Resavoir(sp) and ir is starting to pick up.

I'm a huge fan of the Attack on Titan anime series but I heard that the manga is far more ahead in terms of storyline compared to the anime. Turns out my school has the first ten volumes so I took out the first three today & currently paging through the first volume :')

I just started the series and totally felt the same. Please tell me it improves :( :( I'm on Black Bird vol. 4 and it seems kinda creepy (not the demon part, the rapey part).

I don't remember the rapey part so it must have gotten better. I think that at that point the characters probably still had a lot of developing to do and Kyo improves the more you get to know him and the more you know about his past.

I am at the part where Oz is about to find out he is really B Rabbit & Gil is turning out to not be such a nice guy after all, & honestly so much is going on @the same time it's hard to really describe any more on exactly where I am, lol. It is an addictive story, & so many twists & turns. Have you read it?
