Roxane those are all awesome mangas! Especially Skip Beat - it's my absolute favourite manga of all time!

Nah, I never seen it before, Elizabeth. I have only seen bits and pieces of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, when I was still working in scanlation group.

I didn't know you worked in a scanlation group, that's awesome! I got into the manga from the anime. The anime white washes some of the situations so I like the manga a bit more, but I thought the voice actors and animation for the show was quite good

Yeah, I'm totally the same I prefer manga over anime for a lot of reasons. :) Especially, when there's great art in manga by CLAMP.

Dawn of Arcana is a fun series. I'm glad the library is buying it.

@ Elizabeth and Megan, re:Skip Beat. TBH, I've lost some of the love but I want to know how the series ends...

That's sort of where I am - the Cain/Setsu arc sort of had me lost, but I also don't do well if I'm waiting on things, so I'm considering rereading the whole series so far to see if that's what I've been missing. I'm with you - I just want to know what happens! I'm afraid it's going to go on too long and start to ruin characters for me :( (I'm a little bit afraid that has already started to happen...)

I haven't read Dawn of Arcana. It's been on my to-read list. I haven't gotten the time to read it.

Megan, I haven't read all of Dawn of Arcana, yet I enjoyed all the chapters that I already read. One of the best things about it is the style of art; it seems really smooth and makes manga easy to read. ^^ I recommend the story as well and I really need to finish it someday.

Also, don't go into too much discussion in this thread, guys. :) We have a thread about Skip Beat and you can say your opinion about this manga there. :) And also always feel free to suggest any additional manga.

Have to buy volume three but I have to admit I skimmed through the series online because I have no patience... Another enjoyable series I would recommend.

I don't have the money or time to read every series that looks interesting... Library helps though - some series are enjoyable to read but I don't always want to own them.

On one hand it's the mangaka's series and she should do want she wants with it but on the other hand I wonder if the series has jumped the shark... Does she has storyline planned out and is she flying by the seat of her pants?
