I"m currently reading Fullmetal Alchemist and Death Note. Both extremely great stories and characters.
I just found out that xxxHolic has a sequel xxxHolic Rei! I was really excited but...the sequel is really confusing!! I can't figure out the timeline at all! Maybe it's set in a parallel universe..or..? Has anyone read it - any theories?
Didn't know about xxxHolic Rei! I'm so excited now! After looking it up about it seems that, though it's called xxxHolic Return, it's a reimagining or retelling of the beginning (I say that because the characters are young and Yuuko's returned--reason for the title, maybe??)
Whaaaaat....I'm not sure I like the idea, but I loved xxxHolic, so hopefully I like it as much as the original. I mean it will be nice to have the group dynamic they had and see all the individual cases, so I'll probably just have to forget about xxxHolic's ending haha
I just finished reading Ouran highschool host club, it was so amazing, I loved it! I'm also reading Naruto, have to wait for the next chapter to come out -.- Oh, and now I'm finishing reading one piece.
Oh man...my boyfriend is obsessed with One Piece! He gets super happy every Wednesday and wakes up early so he can read the new chapter hahaha. I personally don't understand it, but to each his own I guess *shrugs*
i am currently reading Beelzebub and i love it its funny and has great idea ... i am in looove with Oga :D
I am currently reading Boy Princess. It is a Korean Manwha. I have read the first three books. It is actually pretty good. I am waiting to get the rest of the books so I am also reading Chibi Vampire while I wait for them.
Boy Princess is a story about a boy who dresses as a princess. There are these two kingdoms and in order to establish a good relationship They set up a marriage and the daughter of the one kingdom disappears right before the wedding. That kingdom sends there youngest son dressed as a princess to marry the prince in the other kingdom. It is a Yaoi love story.
I'm reading Warriors: Dark RiverIt's In an AMAZING series
But it's a realllyyyyy long series
But still awesome
Books on deck: Shelter. Divergent
I just finished Kimi ni Todoke, Volume 17 and I have Strobe Edge, Vol. 6 waiting for me in the other room. I also have Arisa, Vol. 11 on request at the library. I have also been reading Gakuen Alice (left off last on chapter 148/180) & Millennium Snow (left off last on chapter 10) online. I was so happy when I found out Bisco Hatori was continuing Millennium Snow.
Oooh I remember really liking Strobe Edge, but I'd thought it had stopped being translated? Are they releasing volumes in the states? The bookstore near me is tiny and doesn't have much selection so maybe that's why I've not seen it in ages. Yay for continuation on Millenium Snow! I have to say I enjoyed OHSHC better, but it usually takes me a little while to love manga, so I'm hoping I'll like Millennium Snow more since it's continuing!
I'm going to read Sleeping Residents of Bird Manor. I loved Strobe Edge I know that Ao Haru Ride? by same author is licensed I think.
I read Girl Got Game earlier this week and it was pretty cute! I don't think I loved it quite as much as Hana Kimi, but Hana Kimi was also one of my first mangas, so that's to be expected. And I just read Matsuri Special!! It was really good! It's by the same mangaka who did Hana Yori Dango and Cat Street. I think it's surprising that I like her lesser known works more than Hana Yori Dango, but she's clearly good at what she does!
I read a lot of Shoujo manga, but I've not read Hot Gimmick yet. I have a hard time judging how much I'm going to like a manga by the blurb (unlike with books). I just looked it up and it doesn't sound like the sort of thing I'd like, but then neither did Skip Beat. Is it worth a shot?
I loved that series! I had no idea it was still going on, I must have lost track of it at some point...*goes to read all the new chapters excitedly*
Ahhh I see it looks like mangahere updated a bunch of volumes all in one go so maybe I've already read it all...it's wort a reread though :)
Say I love you is a really cute manga! I'm reading that as well :) The others look really good though, I'm adding them to my TBR

Gakuen Babysitters is the cutest manga I've ever read, it makes me always feel at peace with the world when I read it.
Besides, the babies are adorable!
What are you currently reading?
Have you read Love so Life? It seems similar to Gakuen Babysitters in that there are SUPER ADORABLE kids! In fact I could care less about the love interest (although he's great)...I just want more kids! I'm also reading Koi Dano aoi Dano and Skip Beat - these three are probably my absolute favourites at the moment (and maybe of all time?) I'm in the middle of a bunch of series though...if I could figure out how to send you a link I would, but I'm guessing mangahere doesn't have public profiles? You seem to have really similar taste to me so I'm going to go raid your goodreads shelves! (If you use them, I know some people don't)
You're welcome to raid my shelves, though I don't have even a half of all the manga I've read in my long career of a manga addict! ;PI actually have Love so Life in my "to-read" list and will probably read it soon, now that you've recommended it to me.
I've never heard of the other two but will definitely check them!
We have similar tastes indeed, I think I'll go take a look at your shelves too. ;)
Hi!I'm currently reading a manga by Iwamoto Nao, Machi de Uwasa no Tengu no Ko.It's really good but it's rarely updated...I've found raws up until vol.9.Does anyone knows where I can find raws for the other volumes? Thanks!
Hullo, I'm currently reading Oresama Teacher, Chihayafuru, Love So Life, Hiyokoi, Goong, Kaichou wa Maid Sama, Gakuen Alice. I'm waiting for all the uploads except for Goong. And I've just finished reading the latest chapter of Chihyafuru today. Uploads are talking so LOONG!
Just finished Deadman Wonderland. IT WAS FREAKING AMAZING!!!!! I have read Fairy Tail. Currently reading Death Note :)
I really liked Emma u should try the anime it's good. I have read hot gimmick a few times. I recently finished nise no chigeri it's good it's like hakouki but the girl time travels to the time of samurai.
mmm i'm thinking hard to answer that kairi, miki aihara did hot gimmick but her other stuff like honey hunt is licensed. Mademoiselle Butterfly is historical shoujo story that might interest you. Reading Hana no Hime and Blue (same mangaka that did strobe edge) Wanna wait till Chihayafuru is done but that will be awhile, so I can read it all in one go.
Sierra wrote: "Death Note is awesome! I'm reading Umineko When They Cry vol 1. And Bloody Monday 10!"I'm assign you have read all of Death Note? But anyway I am thoroughly enjoying it :)
....I had to stop watching Death Note... it gave me nightmares (...so embarrassing haha) so I don't know if I'll ever read the manga
@Hannah Yes, I've read it all, watched the anime and movies. Glad you're enjoying it :)@Kairi Never heard of Btooom! But now I'm thoroughly interested, I'll have to check it out.
@Elizabeth No shame in having nightmares from Death Note. Some of the images alone were nightmare-worthy, not to mention storyline...
