((Erp. They need to warm up to each other.))

message 52: by [deleted user] (new)

((idk how though...))

message 53: by [deleted user] (new)

((hmm...

message 54: by [deleted user] (new)

((through derrel? lisa goes out with him so kenzy hangs out with them trying to protect her friend ans she starts finding so positive qualities in noah?))

message 55: by [deleted user] (new)

((Sounds good!))

message 56: by [deleted user] (new)

(u start?)

message 57: by [deleted user] (new)

((k))

Noah smiled at a joke Darrel had made. Lately Lisa had been hanging out with him and Darrel.

message 58: by [deleted user] (new)

Kenzy had been stuck with them since she didn't want to leave Lisa alone with them. She felt so awkward though. She wanted to protect her friend but these guys weren't her crowd. Lisa was all but hanging off of Derrel.

message 59: by [deleted user] (new)

Noah leaned back in his chair and lit a cigarette.

message 60: by [deleted user] (new)

Kenzy said, "Smoking gives you cancer." Lisa sat on Derrel's lap, "Give it a break Kenzy. He's 18. It's legal."

message 61: by [deleted user] (new)

Noah smirked. Blowing out the smoke in Kenzy's direction.

message 62: by [deleted user] (new)

She coughed. She looked down thinking of her dad. Lisa remembered and hugged Kenzy, "I'm sorry. I forgot. I...I guess my head's been wrapped around Derrel too much, huh? I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that."

message 63: by [deleted user] (new)

Noah raised a brow but didn't say anything.

message 64: by [deleted user] (new)

Kenzy shrugged, "It's alright. Think it happens to everyone..." Lisa nodded but it was obvious she felt guilty.

message 65: by [deleted user] (new)

Noah finally put out his cigarette.

message 66: by [deleted user] (new)

Lisa crawled back on Derrel's lap, not as smiley now. Kenzy looked down at her toes, trying not to cry. Today? Lisa really had to forget about that today?

message 67: by [deleted user] (new)

Darrel wrapped his arms around Lisa.

Noah just sat there.

message 68: by [deleted user] (new)

Lisa leaned into him. Kenzy stood and walked towards the fence, trying to hide her tears unsuccesfully. Today was always hard on her. She and her father had been close. Until three years ago when he had died of lung cancer. Now life had been turned upside down although she was an only child, her family was struggling. Lisa understood, but no one else did.

message 69: by [deleted user] (new)

Darrel talked with Lisa.

Noah's brow furrowed when Kenzy left. He got up and followed her. "Are you okay?" he asked.

message 70: by [deleted user] (new)

"Like you care," she muttered.

Lisa smiled.

message 71: by [deleted user] (new)

Noah rolled his eyes. "I wouldn't be over here if I didn't." he said.

Darrel kissed her cheek.

message 72: by [deleted user] (new)

"It's...today is the third year anniversary of my dad's death. He was a smoker. He got lung cancer and died. I'm just upset." She didn't understand why she was telling him this.

She grinned.

message 73: by [deleted user] (new)

Noah now felt guilty of smoking around her. "I'm sorry." he said.

message 74: by [deleted user] (new)

She shook her head, "You wouldn't have known. It's more that Lisa forgot...she knows about everything that's happened because of it..." She was a goody two shoes because that's how her father had said a lady should act and because she didn't want to end up like her mom.

message 75: by [deleted user] (new)

"Oh." Noah said, he bit his lip than walked back to Darrel and Lisa.

message 76: by [deleted user] (new)

Lisa wasn't surprised he left. She wiped her tears but didn't go back over there. She wasn't like them. She was a good girl. She had no interest in bad boys. She was the odd one out, only there so her friend wouldn't get hurt.

message 77: by [deleted user] (new)

Darrel kissed Lisa's neck.

message 78: by [deleted user] (new)

CRAP! Meant kenzy. anywho.

Lisa smiled.

message 79: by [deleted user] (new)

Lol

Noah sat in his chair but kept watching Kenzy. He wasn't as bad as he knew she thought he was.

message 80: by [deleted user] (new)

Kenzy eventually came back with red puffy eyes. She didn't wear much make up so there was no mascara to smear.

message 81: by [deleted user] (new)

Noah watched her come back.

message 82: by [deleted user] (new)

She sat next to Noah mainly because Lisa and Derrel were making out which grossed out Kenzy.

message 83: by [deleted user] (new)

Noah rolled his eyes at Darrel and Lisa.

message 84: by [deleted user] (new)

Kenzy tried not to barf.

message 85: by [deleted user] (new)

Noah sighed and got up. Walking away.

message 86: by [deleted user] (new)

Kenzy groaned being stuck alone with the couple.

message 87: by [deleted user] (new)

Noah sat on the ground against a nearby tree.

message 88: by [deleted user] (new)

Kenzy looked down.

message 89: by [deleted user] (new)

Noah looked at her for a moment. "Lisa's fine." he called softly to her. "Come sit."

message 90: by [deleted user] (new)

She blinked and came over tentatively.

message 91: by [deleted user] (new)

Noah rolled his eyes. "I'm not going to hurt you." he said.

message 92: by [deleted user] (new)

"Maybe not. But I doubt your the kind of guy who is dying for my company.

message 93: by [deleted user] (new)

Noah shrugged. "Better than being with them." he said, gesturing with his chin to Lisa and Darrel.

message 94: by [deleted user] (new)

Kenzy nodded, "You got that right."

message 95: by [deleted user] (new)

Noah chuckled. Leaning against the tree behind him.

message 96: by [deleted user] (new)

She sat next to him.

message 97: by [deleted user] (new)

Noah looked out at the space in front of them. It was getting late and the stars were coming out.

message 98: by [deleted user] (new)

She asked, "Why do you ditch classes so much? Where do you even go?"

message 99: by [deleted user] (new)

Noah raised a brow at the sudden questions. "Typically downtown." he said, not answering her first question.

message 100: by [deleted user] (new)

"And do what? I can never find anything to do here..." She lived downtown and tried as often as she could to get away. She often stayed late in the chapel at the school just so she didn't have to go home so soon.
