I'm finally going to read the Harry Potter series in August. Does anyone want to buddy read it?

I'm hoping too. I saw fantasy is this months genre and I figured it be a good time to read them.

I'm not a particularly fast reader and i read all 7 books in less than two weeks. They're super easy to just sit with for long stretches of time.

Wow that's pretty impressive, and I thought I was a fast reader lol. They don't seem like they'd be a lot of time but I saw that one is 700+ pgs and another is almost 900

I'm tryna read the game of thrones series. Kinda wish to read with someone else. I finished the 1st book, but i guess alone without having someone else to talk about it with, it takes me longer on such a big series.

Well hope the house painting goes smoothly. I'm not sure on pace, what would be good with you, or what would you advice, I'm sure I'll do fine with whatever. I'm a go for anything :) This is my first buddy read, so heads up on my excitement.

Thanks :) Hmmm I'm kinda slow with those books :( How about we start off with 3 chapters a day and then we can move it up as we go along :)

Ya I was wondering cause I have the 2014 harper voyager ones and they split A Storm of Swords and A Dance With Dragons into 2 books each so there is A Storm of Swords PI and PII and a Dance with Dragons Part I and part II but you must have the ones that have a single book each for A Storm of Sword and A Damce with Dragon, ya? :)

To be honest I don't know of any recent good series releases but I'm up for anything. I have read a few YA series like The Selection and such. Any suggestions? :)

- The Mortal Instruments & The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare
- Legend Trilogy by Marie Lu
- Vampire Academy & Bloodlines by Richelle Mead
- Noughts & Crosses by Malorie Blackman

These are series that I've started but haven't finished but loved the books I did read :p
- Daughter of Smoke and Bone Trilogy by Laini Taylor
- Age of Legends Trilogy by Kelley Armstrong
- Feed & Parasitology series by Mira Grant
- The Fifth Wave by Rick Yancey
- The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer
- Ashes Trilogy by Ilsa J. Bick
- Throne of Glass & A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
- A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin.

Sorry for so many suggestions but I don't know what you've read or not read and there's a bit of everything really in that list above so maybe you'll find something you like :)

What about 'The Lunar Chronicles' or 'Throne of Glass & a Court of Thorns and Roses'?

I could read Throne of Glass, I'm on the second book though... and I'm on the third book of The Lunar Chronicles.
