Rae leaned against her locker. Chewing on her bottom lip and waiting for Jordan.

Jordan came up rp her smiling "hey." His black backpack hung off of one of guys shoulders and his red hair was messy as usual. "what's up?"
Rae looked up. "Hey. Nothing, really." Rae said with a light shrug of her shoulders, her hair moving gently across them.
"you okay? You're not a energetic as normal." He rose am eyebrow.
"I'm just tired." Rae said quietly. She had been up a lot of the night listening to her parents fight. Rae bit her bottom lip to keep it from trembling. They fought often but she still hated it.
He stepped closer and murmured so only she could hear "it's your parents again, isn't it?" He sighed "i told you you could come to my place whenever. My mom won't mind."
Rae nodded softly as an answer to his question.
He looked at her softly. "I'll buy you a cookie at lunch." He told her, gently ruffling her hair.
Rae giggled when he ruffled her hair. She wasn't like other and didn't care to much about her hair. Only enough to brush it in the morning.
He smiled. "aww, that's my adorable little Rae!" He teased. "how about we skip first period?" He suggested.
Rae looked up at him. "Why would we do that?"
"because you, my friend, need a break... And a donut." He chuckled, taking her hand and tugging her towards the exit.
Rae let Jordan pull her to the exit.
Jordan got out his keys and unlocked his truck. "come on. We'll get some donuts." He opened the passenger door for her.
"Okay." she said getting in his truck.
He closed the door once she was in and got in the driver's side.
Rae buckled up. Putting her backpack on the floor beside her feet.
Jordan drove out of the parking lot. "how are your classes?" He asked.

"I know. Nothing bad is happening at class. Its just home." Rae says tucking hair behind her ear.

"that's what I'm talking about, Rae." He parked at the donut shop. "what are they fighting about?"
"Useless crap." she said, almost bitterly. "Little things. Where do we move the dining room table to? Should we go buy a movie?"
"really?" He shook his head. "they need counseling or something." He muttered. Jordan placedhis hand on hers and smiled softly "I'm sure it'll get better."
He smiled sadly before getting it if the truck. He went around and opened her door for her. "lets get some food in that little tummy of yours."
Rae giggled. She got out of the truck.
He smiled as he heard her cute giggle. He closed the door behind her and walked into the shop with her. The staff didn't question their presence. Jordan looked at Rae. "what do you want?" He murmured.
"Um...just a glazed." she answered.
"are you sure?" He asked. He was going to get a bunch of other donuts even it she said yes.
"I'm positive." Rae said looking up at him.
He smirked "alright." He ordered her donuts then ordered six more. "what do you want to drink?" He asked, ordering himself done chocolate milk.
"Erm...just plain milk." Rae replied.
He nodded "alright." He got her milk then pulled it his wallet to pay.
He handed her her donut. "if you're still hungry i can always share." He smiled.
Rae smiled. "You're too nice." she said, taking her donut.
"noo, I'm just enough nice." He teased.poking the tip of her nose playfully "do you want to eat in here or in the truck?"
