Jordan smiled "thank you. Then I'll take you home." He stroked her cheek gently and held her close.
Rae cuddled up to him. She hated that she needed to go hone but Rae didn't want her parents to worry.
After a few moments of silently holding each other, Jordan suddenly took hold of get chin and had her look him in the eyes "Rae... I... I really like you." He was blushing brightly. "and, i don't want you to leave."
Rae was stunned. She had never thought he liked her in that way. She'd always hidden her feelings cause she didn't want to do anything to their friendship.
"even if you don't feel the same way, that's fine. But i just really had to tell you." He smiled softly and slowly leaned in, brushing his lips against hers.

Jordan sighed but nodded "alright." He reluctantly sat up.
Rae went around collecting her stuff. Then going to the bathroom and changing into day clothes.
Jordan changed in his room, now in an extremely good mood.
Rae came out her bag all packed up. She winced at the thought of what her punishment would be.
"I'll go in with you. I'll make sure they know that i told you too." He assured her, smiling softly.
Rae shook her head. "Please don't. They'll be really mad. There's no getting to them." she said.
Jordan shrugged "then that's my problem." He helped her into his truck.
"Jordan. I'm serious." she said. "Let me deal with it."
"no. I'm not letting you do it alone." He told her stubbornly.
"Jordan." she said sternly. "Just drop me off."
"no." He said just ad sternly as he got into the truck and began driving her home.
Rae sighed abc watched as things went by as be drove.

Rae got out when he had parked. She walked up to the house disturbed by the silence coming from it.
Jordan frowned "i have a bad feeling..." He opened the front door, walking into the house with her.
"Nothing goes right in this house." she muttered as she walked in. Her parents were sitting on the couch. Basically fuming, but not yelling at each other. This anger was for her this time.
"uh oh." He muttered. Silence was far worse than yelling. He smiled nervously at her parents "ah hello. I'm sorry for keeping your daughter so long, its just, she was very tired yesterday so she started with my mom and i last night." He cleared his throat, becoming a but more serious "i take full responsibility and am sorry if either of you were worried."
Her father grinded his teeth. "Thank you, son. You may go now." he said hardly.

More he was completely serious and held her father's gaze "have you stopped to consider how you two screaming your lungs out at each other has affected Rae?" He rose am eyebrow "she can't sleep and she is even scared for both of your wellbeing." He sighed "you both were so busy yelling at each other yesterday that you didn't even notice when we came into your horse, went to Rae's room and got her some clothes, then left again. Doesn't that show you how bad your fighting has gotten? The reason i convinced Rae to stay at my apartment for the night was because i didn't want her suffering as you two go at each other's throats." Jordan looked at Rae before nodded to her parents. "that's all i wanted to say."
Her father stood up. "Do not try to tell me how I should be doing things. This is my house and my family. Get out." he said pointing at the door. "Now."

He walked closer to Jordan. Ignoring what he said. "Get. Out. Now." he growled. Still pointing at the door.
"no. Because i don't know for sure that you won't hurt Rae." Jordan said, sending his ground.

"Jordan, leave. Please." she pleaded.

Jordan didn't say anything. He just glared back at her father. He wanted to pick up Rae and run back to the truck with her but he knew he couldn't do that.
