"Just that, I wanna know if we're okay i guess. I mean things felt so awkward today- it's been what now a year? It shouldn't matter that much." Avery told him, looking at the wall behind his head blankly.

Avery stood up, shaking his head. "No. Not until you answer my question." He said, his voice clear as he raised and eyebrow.

"Fine," Avery said, in complete and utter annoyance. "God you straight people are just so freakin stubborn. I mean if you even were straight it wouldn't even be a problem to say it never happened and it didn't matter." He said, throwing the word in his face before closing the door and walking back downstairs.

Avery went back downstairs, not really wanting to be near anyone. But this wasn't his house so there were very limited places to go without being questioned- so he just took a seat back on the couch in the living room.

Avery leaned back, throwing his legs up on the coffee table and drinking some of his beer. Just then his phone went off and he went outside so that he could answer it.

He smiled as he leaned against his truck crossing an arm over his chest as he listened to Mark babble about nothing in particular. After a while he finally let Avery speak and he tried to say anything that came to mind- not too eager to go back inside.

Avery looked up from the ground as he walked by, "Gotta go, see you Monday," He said hanging up- before looking at them all curiously.

Avery followed them inside- he couldn't help but be surprised why now? He walked past Jon into the house as he walked into the kitchen.

Avery silently took a seat at the table, looking over at Chris only for a second before turning his attention towards the tv.

He leaned against the wall, thinking to himself for a while until they had finally finished up and he took a seat at the table.
Avery watched the two, he still couldn't believe Chris had actually told them he was gay, but what he really couldn't believe was his parents accepted it. Jon was a total homophobe all through high school- and even through college, but he guessed that when it comes to your only son that changes things.

Avery held in a laugh taking a bite from his roll, denying the fact his answer made him have a tiny feeling of relief.

Once Avery was finished he got up, grabbing his things and bringing them to the sink to clean them.

Avery looked over at him for a moment, before moving to the other side of him so he could dry them as he cleaned them.

((What should happen?))
Avery looked over at Viv for a second, "Whats up?" He asked, placing a couple of dishes in the drying rack as he raised an eyebrow.

He looked at her questioningly, for a second having absolutely no idea what she was talking about. "What do you know?"
He shook his head, "Nothing happened," Avery told her, as he finished up drying the rest of the dishes.

"And how exactly do you expect me to fix it, he won't even talk to me- and honestly there's nothing to fix." Avery said, before she walked away.

He shook his head, "Don't just roll your eyes at me." He told her, walking back to the table and taking a seat.

Avery gave her an exasperated look, rolling his own eyes. "Answer my question," He said, looking over at Jon for a second.
