I’m also pretty curious as to whether there is any crossover with the tv show (...because admittedly I watched the first two seasons before starting the second half of the TMI books), and the end of season 2 seemed to ROUGHLY coincide with the end of City of Glass so I clearly need to read the rest of TMI before I test out the rest of the series JUST IN CASE XD

TBH it’s actually surprisingly good - especially after the DISASTER that was the movie ._.

Seasons 1-2 cover up to City of Glass, and while there are some definite changes from Canon they’re not terrible ones. Plus the relationship between (view spoiler)[Magnus and Alec (hide spoiler)] is amazing and I love it.

Because I’ve only read the original trilogy up until now, I’m not watching season 3 until I’ve read the rest because I have no idea whether it’s canon compliant and if it is I don’t want the books spoiled XD

Would definitely recommend you try out the series (and if you DO I’d love to hear your thoughts so feel free to message me about it ;D)
