Joe Hill is Stephen King's son and his writing style is similar. This is a good tale for Halloween.

It was OK. I've read many reviews since I finished it and people are very divided - they seem to either really like it or hate it. I was somewhere in the middle. People have complained that it was sometimes hard to follow because there are several different narratives. I liked this because I thought it was inventive how she wove the stories together. I just wanted the story to be a little more involving.

Yea..let's hear it for Outlander..... Although having read it under the title Cross Stitch in the uk I was rather mystified at first by whether Outlander was in addition to the series!

I have just bought season 1 since we couldn't see it here instead the uk unless subscribed to Sky...boo hiss shouts of unfair.... So happy bunny now... Lots of episodes still to watch and so faithful to the books... Well apart from Jamie's hair of course...also the vase thing.... In my copy of the book Clare definitely buys the vase.....
