Water:
Her Forbidden Hero - N2U
All or Nothing - your to-read-ASAP shelf

Just This Once - from your to-read
Earth:
Eat Play Lust - a real cute shortie - it is released on the 26th
Along Came Trouble - some angst in minor characters, but not so much in the main ones - from your chosen shelf
SandyYour bday is a day before mine! I hope you like the picks :)
Fire:
TBR:Russka: The Novel of Russiaby Edward Rutherford- has a red cover and looks super cool!
New:Maid for Loveby Marie Force- Stubborn character and it's a guilty pleasure series for me.
Water:
TBR:Here be Dragonsby Sharon Kay Penman-I saw this on your TBR and I had to put down for dark blue cover. This is my all time favorite historical fiction. She is one of my favorite authors.
New:Playing for Keepsby RL Mathewson-this is a sweet read
Air:
TBR:If I Stayby Gayle Forman- this is a sad, but good book
New:Dirtyby Megan Hart- really emotional, but awesome
Earth:
TBR:Backstage Passby Olivia Cunning- fun, HOT book and a light read ;)
New:Flat-Out Loveby Jessica Park-another light read
Lisa:Thanks for waiting for your picks. I wasn't paying attention and didn't realize that we were doing them early this month! Anyway, we don't have a ton of books in common, so I tried to pick from your shelves (especially your "want-to-read-next" shelf) and a few that are new to you. I hope you find something you like, if not, let me know and I can repick for ya!
FIRE: I'm a sucker for alpha men. Talk about stubborn, so I went with that for this option. You've got some great books on your TBR for this so I had plenty to pick from.
--great start to a great series. Loved this one. And talk about the epitome of alpha. Lucas is yummy and is definitely not taking no for an answer!
--you had book 2 on your shelf but not book one. And you enjoyed the FSOG trilogy, so I think this will be right up your alley. Gideon Cross is definitely stubborn. And he deliciously doesn't tends to ignore "no".
--for something different, I thought we should focus on the girls a bit. Meritt is super stubborn and very strong. I love a kick ass heroine.WATER: We're going with covers for this one, so I chose,
(water),
(dark blue), and
(dark blue)but I also decided to throw in
because it's sweet and loving. A little sexy too!AIR: ANGST is the name of the game here and you have plenty to choose from. LOL, I went with
,
, and
. I'm getting Emo just thinking about these!EARTH: after getting bogged down with all that angst in the last category, I decided not to take myself too seriously, and give you a few laughs. So, I hope one of these fits your fancy:
--very cute, more serious out of all of them in this category though
--funny and a bit unique in that it's written from the male POV
--ha! I'm crackin' up just thinking about this one.
--can't take yourself too seriously with a pink cover and men's drawers on the cover!Well, I hope that you can find something to read this month!
Pam,I'm so sorry I haven't gotten your picks up yet. Things have come up and I wont be able to get them done until Monday morning! I'm normally right on time....again I'm sorry!!!
Penney wrote: "Hi Amy! That was fun, and really hard. Thank the Lord for Breann's rules, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to pick and choose. As it is, I left quite a few books on the cutting room floor. ..."Penney Great selection!

Earth: Green Cover: Skin in the Game by Jackie Barbosa; Landscape/brown cover: The Outlaw and the Lady by Lorraine Heath.

Thank you, Yz!! I'm going to go out on a limb this month and read some stuff that I don't usually go for. Definitely The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie and Exclusively Yours. Gonna try and fit Wallbanger and Rush in there too, since I have those listed for other challenges as well. Woohoo, can't wait for September!!
Nikita wrote: "Hi Amy J! We didn't have that many books in common so I did pick a few books for you for each catgeory and I hope you find something that you would like to read. Thanks for the picks Nikita!
I'm going to start with Branded by Fire. Although I didn't like the fifth book, I love all the ones that came before it. So, I'm willing to give the series another try.

I'm glad that you found something that looked good. I love that green cover :)
Apilif I'm not as familiar with the m/m genre as others, so I relied mainly on the covers to pick from your TBR. For original picks, I used your favorites shelf as a jumping off place and explored "Readers also enjoyed" & listopia from there. I hope you enjoy your picks, have fun reading in September.Fire: Fire people are impassioned and devoted lovers, and may tend toward flamboyant romantic gestures. Pick a book with a strong and/or stubborn character, someone who is determined to end up with The One and doesn’t take no for an answer. Or choose a book with a red, yellow or orange cover or with fire on the cover.
Your TBR:
Something New:
Water: Romance comes naturally to Water people; they give and receive love easily. Recommend a book that has a sweet and loving story. Or pick a book with a dark blue cover or one that has water on the cover.
Your TBR:
Something New:
Air: Since commitment doesn't come naturally to Air they can have difficulty in relationships. Choose an angsty and/or emotional book. Or recommend a book with a white or light blue cover or a book with a blue sky on the cover.
Your TBR:
Something New:
Earth: The Earth person commits readily, they don’t experience much conflict when choosing to commit, and may not see it as having negative aspects. Recommend a book with little conflict, something light and easy. Or a book with a brown or green cover or a book with any landscape on the cover.
