I was lucky enough to win a hardback 1st edition of
in a Goodreads giveaway.
It's great fun with fantastic drawings by Chris Riddell. Recommended if you are a Neil Gaiman fan or a fan of aliens, dinosaurs, wumpires, pirates or milk.

One of my RL book clubs has chosen Stardust for our January read. Does anyone mind if I swap American Gods and Stardust in our schedule?
If it causes anyone a logistics problem in getting the book I won't change it, just wanted to check :)

I need to read American Gods as a group read for a challenge by the end of February. So, I would prefer it to go:
January - Stardust
February - American Gods
March - Good Omens
January - Stardust
February - American Gods
March - Good Omens
No probs Pigletto - I will change to what you've suggested unless I hear otherwise from anyone today
Thanks all :)
Thanks all :)

You officially join the challenge just by saying in this thread that you'd like to, so welcome! Look forward to discussing with you.
I just finished Neverwhere and thought it was really good. Hope you enjoy it!

I read Coraline and i totally became a fan. I was reading M is for Magic but my e-reader broke and i ended up becoming busy and with no time to read. I guess i'll start with the january book and them catch up on the other ones i haven't read =D

Another oops, wrong thread, this is for

All good Sarah :) I have the audio, but I'm finishing Lirael on audio so I may start it a day or so late

How are you enjoying Lirael? I really enjoyed Sabriel.

I'm enjoying Lirael more Pigletto! It explores the world 14 years after Sabriel finished and is more focused on the Clayr and some new concepts that weren't introduced in Sabriel. I thought I would miss Sabriel and Touchstone, but I find I don't as the story is so good and they do make the occasional appearance

Original Post #77
My Goal: 6/6 COMPLETED!!
List of books:
✔ September 2013 - Coraline 9/4/13
✔ October 2013 - The Ocean at the End of the Lane 8/31/13
✔ November 2013 - The Graveyard Book 11/27/13
✔ December 2013 - Neverwhere 12/16/13
✔ January 2014 - Stardust 1/10/14

I think that's my favourite so far too. I just started Anansi Boys on audio. Lenny Henry does a great job

Good to know! When I get around to it, I'll probably listen to the audio.
