Alright. I am so disappointed that "heart break" has become such a lightly used phrase. I hope you girls realize that if you are still in middle school or high school, you still have no idea what heart break feels like. It's sad that in this generation, children use the terms boyfriend, girlfriend, relationship, and dating so often, the words are no longer true to their definitions. For instance, when a person is dating another person, actual dates have to take place. So basically, what I am trying to say is that I think that everybody should use words like this sparingly, and that this is a pet peeve of mine that is even worse than the "lol" thing.

It's better in high school than in middle school.

*high fives Joshua* Thank goodness somebody agrees! I know sixth graders who have had their first kisses!

*high fives Joshua* Thank goodness somebody agrees! I know sixth graders who have had their first kisses!"
No, see, just no. I don't count relationships till your old enough to drive your date TO THE FREAKING DATE! Just saying.
Really. Gee. That's crazy. I know someone who had their first kiss at 7. In a porta pottie.

*facepalm*

Or until you're old enough to get your "your"s correct. Jk, jk, that's a good way to think of it. And Lacey, the worst part is how the kids in middle school think it's so serious and stuff.

I'm just to lazy to care. As long as there's no stupid red line under the word idc. And I can understand 8th grade a little cause their curious and things but it still doesn't count.

THIS IS SO TRUE!!! I had a friend in 6th grade who had a boyfriend and whenever we were in the same class she would go, do you have this class next? can you tell him i miss him? And sadly i had to tutor the dude so she would always ask me. I mean come on people WE ARE YOUNG!! WE MUST BE FREE!!! PEOPLE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO HAVE A BF OR GF TILL HIGH SCHOOL!!
I think it really depends on the person how serious a "serious" relationship is. I mean, obviously in 6th grade 99% of the kids are just trying to be cool by asking someone out and say they're dating. That final 1% is just experiencing puppy love.
Middle school is getting a little more serious, but it's more of that practice time where you figure what's ok and not ok to do on a date, how to properly ask a girl out, the like. It's just that time when you figure everything out.
As for high school, that's where things get controversial. If you're one of those girls that dates a new guy every month saying he's "the love of your life" well then obviously, that's not enough to get your heart broken.
There are those few couples that do make things serious and do love each other and actually do have a mature relationship. But it depends on the kind of "Dating person" you are.
Personally, I don't see the point in looking for "the one" until you're out of school. You've got enough things to worry about, don't add a relationship to the mix!
On the off chance you happen to stumble upon someone earlier that's absolutely perfect, go for it. More power to you! Just be sure that it's worth it in the long run.
Also personally, if the person you're dating is in the other room, THEN DON'T MISS THEM!!! If you're going to see him/her later that day, THEN DON'T MISS THEM!!! The time to miss people, is when they leave for a week, or they move out of the state!

On a separate note I'm going to see Sea of Monsters today
That's what this thread is for, don't be sorry.
Girls... are not nice. They gossip, and whine, and complain, and then fake kindness to your face.

His girlfriend broke up with him because she's moving and then started smack talking their relationship AND hit on his friend.

Thanks and I guess I expected a little more respect after over 2 years

...So around 127 weeks... Gosh that's a long time! I am giving no advice, because have never been in your place, and I don't know how it feels.

Joshua doesn't seem like that kind of person, but this is the internet, so who knows? In my opinion that would just be like sinking to her level.

If it was me

And shrugz. Who cares."
