Alisha Marie (endlesswonderofreading) | 715 comments I can't really make a concrete list as to what I want to read this year. It makes me panic if I have it all planned out and then I deviate from the list. But a couple that I'm pretty sure I'm going to pick up this year (from my own bookshelves not counting library reads) are:

The Observations
Fingersmith
The Book Thief
The Vanishing Act of Esme Lennox
Water for Elephants
Off Season

So, hopefully, I actually pick those up and read them really soon.

Lisa | 437 comments Books coming soon that I will be reading:
Finger Lickin Fifteen - Janet Evanovich
The Sorceress - Michael Scott
A Dance with Dragons - George RR Martin (if it's finally being published this time. It gets pushed back over and over)

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads (susannag) | 1736 comments I don't make a list of what I plan to read - I just wander around the house when I've finished one book, and eventually I will see another one that looks interesting.

Or I'll visit with an old friend for a comfort read.

message 13: by GracieKat (new)

GracieKat | 864 comments That's me. I don't plan what I read. I read whatever strikes me at the moment. I did make a vow though that this year all the books that have been languishing in my bedroom marked "Sorry, haven't read you yet" will finally be read. Then I got a bunch of new books so I made a new vow. I'll read one of my new books and then an older book from the stockpile. And sneak in an old budddy here and there. There are some books that I can't go without reading every couple of months.
