I am about half-way through 'Outlander' by Diana Gabaldon. Depending on my overall opinion at the end I will either read the next book of the series, or I'm going to go back and reread the Sookie Stackhouse Series by Charlaine Harris.
I am halfway through The Goldfinch by Donna Tart - brilliant. My next book will be The Children Act by Ian McEwan. I've read all of his books and really like the majority
just finished about two different books from different series:Percy Jackson and the lightening thief - delirium - Lauren Oliver - and am currently starting the immortal instrument series.
I am planning to read.... Anyone have suggestions for a almost 14 year old girl? I am currently reading 4 books so if someone does reccemend one for me they are gonna have to wait. :p

Just finished "The Extraordinary Secrets of April, May, and June", by Robin Benway...and it was SO good! I really liked it - just a nice, light, realistic fiction book. :)
Now I'm about to start "Unwind" by Neal Shusterman.
We'll see how it goes...
I am currently reading The Fault In Our Stars. Next I hope to read The Hunger Games Trilogy... I know, I know. I haven't read them yet lol.
I really need to read The Hunger Games, A Song of Ice and Fire, and the Maze Runner. Need to catch up.

I just started the second book in A Song of Ice and Fire.....I'm behind too!
There are a lot of really great books in this thread.I'm in the middle of Losing Hope and after that I'll be reading Finding Cinderella, but it's only a novella. I love Colleen Hoover's books.. It's been a while since I read Hopeless, so even thought it's the same story but from Holder's POV, it doesn't feel so recycled. Plus there is a lot of back story about Holder and Les from before he meets Sky.
Then after that I plan on starting Looking for Alaska. I can't wait to read another John Green book! I've read TFIOS and Paper Towns and loved both! I'm sure this one will be great too.
I think I may check out some of those books Jennifer. :)
I'm currently reading Nostradamus by Francis X King. I'm about half way through it. After that, I intend to re-read a critique written by Dusan Zarac, titled "On Nietzche". I do have the benefit of knowing the author and along with other friends, have also spent a number of fine afternoons discussing his points of view. I also have purchased one of Wilbur Smith's new book titled "The Desert God" - the latest in the Egyptian series . . . saw it in the shops and just had to purchase it - What can I say. Cheers Paul :)
I'm reading The Child Thief, and I'm a quarter through with it. After I think I'm going to read either Frankenstein or Norwegian Wood. I can't decide.
Rose wrote: "Has anyone read Wuthering Heights or Jane Eyre lol? I want to read one of them but I can't decide."They are both great classics. I would start with JE, for length alone.

Thank you! I've been wanting to read more classics lately.
The Master and Margarita by Bulgakov is a modern Russian classic that was banned. It's a little different in that it appears as though you are reading two stories in one book.

I am planning on reading The raven Boys as soon as i finish Minders and then while i am at school i plan on reading something on my iPod but i am not sure yet
I just started reading Steinbeck's TRAVELS WITH CHARLIE (1962). I've read Steinbeck's THE LONG VALLEY, THE GRAPES OF WRATH, CANNERY ROW, THE PEARL, and EAST OF EDEN. I will next read Barbara Fradkin's NONE SO BLIND (2014). This is the tenth book in her Inspector Green series set in Ottawa, Canada.
Marybeth wrote: "I am planning on reading The raven Boys as soon as i finish Minders and then while i am at school i plan on reading something on my iPod but i am not sure yet"Tell me what you think of The Raven Boys! I'm on the second book.
I finished Moon Called, which was really good and started Big Little Lies. Next up is either Code Name Verity, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (re-read), or Queen of Babble (for an A-Z challenge).
Hi,I intend to start reading "The Desert God" by Wilbur Smith some time in the next few days.
Cheers
Paul :)
Just finished my 50th book of 2014 so far! :)The Storied Life of AJ Fikry, by Gabrielle Zevin; it was great!! If you call yourself a book-lover, you should read it.
