Joseph Conrad The Shadow Line on kindle,Toole's The Confederacy of Dunces on audio.
Still reading hard copy of Finnegan's Wake, at 5 pages a day I'll be done Dec 3.
Home by Marilynne Robinson is a favorite of mine! If you enjoy it, read her other novel about similar characters: Gilead. It's even a little bit better than Home, in my opinion. :)As for me, I started The Story of Lucy Gault by William Trevor the other day. So far, it's very beautiful, but very sad.
The Call of The Wild, by Jack London. Not really sure what this is doing on the list, but I'm looking forward to reading it.
Wendy wrote: "Just started The Sense of an Ending by Julian Barnes on audio."I loooooooved that book, I am not sure why, but I tell everyone to read it.
Let me know what you think.
Ginger wrote: "Just settling in to the Shining. Great October read!"I will be starting this one soon too! It IS a great October read!
Starting Wide Sargasso Sea by Jean Rhys. I really don't know what I'm about to get into so here goes.
I started Mary Barton this morning. I'm having a hard time with the very small print of the edition I'm reading but it was the only edition the library had so I am going to tough it out.

Wendy wrote: "Just started The Sense of an Ending by Julian Barnes on audio."Based on this book alone I've decided that Julian Barnes is going to be one of my favourite authors! He's brilliant!

I started Me Before You by Jojo Meyes today. From its rating, it's a nice one. However I'm interested in the story.I hope it will end well, a happy ending one. Guess it won't.
Just began Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides and I read The Lover (only about 100 pages) this past week in one sitting.
Most recently started Heart of Darkness. I didn't expect it to be so short since the movie Apocalypse Now was so long. I might be able to read it faster than I could watch the movie version!
Stephanie "Jedigal" wrote: "Starting Martin Amis' Money. Hopefully I like it better than London Fields."I am half way Jedigal, I havent read london fields, but this is entertaining at least??????

A great book, but not a LIST book!

A great book, but not a LIST book!
Starting today The House of the Seven Gables by Nathaniel Hawthorne. It is actually my first book as I attempt to start the LIST. :)
Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell. My husband wants to watch the movie, but I told him he had to wait till I read the book.
Dr. Luke AM wrote: "The Non-Silence of the LAMB at www.TheNon-SilenceoftheLAMB.com"This is not the right group to promote your books. Your post might get flagged as spam.
I recently started Aesop's Fables. I never realized how many of them there actually were before now.
Just started Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro. I really liked The Remains of the Day so I hope this one is good too!
