He turned her head back to face him,"No you're not." he said caressing her cheek.

"You have those bandages because of me." she pointed out.
"No I have these bandages for being stubborn and not listening." he said running his hand through her hair again.
Carmen shivered. "Sam, this won't work." she whispered
"Why do you think that?" he asked hoping he would understand so he could help change her mind.
"I told you, I'm too dangerous!" she cried, getting up.
He grabbed her and pulled her back to him,"I don't care. I don't and won't believe that." he said firmly.
"I care!" she said, a glint from her werewolf form appearing in her eyes. "Don't you get it, I care!"
He sighed letting her go. He noticed the glint in her eyes and knew it could turn bad quickly. He stood,"I believe you have self control." he said before opening the diner door and stepped outside.
Carmen went to her room and curled up beneath the quilts. She bit her arm, trying to keep herself from transforming. Droplets of blood dripped down her arm.
Sam sat under a shady tree rubbing one of his shoulders. He liked Carmen but with her thinking the way she was thinking it wouldn't matter.
Carmen yelped as she bit down extra hard. Blood poured out her arm.
Sam heard something from the diner and got up quickly making his way inside,"Carmen?" he called out.
Carmen didnt answer and bandaged up her arm.
He walked into her room seeing her bandaging her arm,"What did you do?" asked keeping his distance.
"Carmen. What. Did. You. Do?" he asked again firmly.
"I told you, nothing!" she insisted.
Sam sighed frustrated. He left her room going back outside. He started muttering to himself.
Carmen wrapped more bandages around herself.
He sat back down under the shady tree. He stared up at the sky remembering the spider web pattern around the whole city. He looked toward the diner and thought to himself why Carmen pushed him away besides the whole dangerous thing.
Sam stayed under the tree until the sun started to set. He stood up and walked back into the diner.
Sam opened the door and went into his room. He felt irritated and his bandages made his shoulders itch.
Carmen came out. "I need to change your bandages."
"Fine." he said avoiding eye contact with her.
She pointed to the booth. "Sit down, please."
He sat down and looked at his hands letting her change his bandages.
She quickly finished and went to her room.
Sam pulled his shirt on and stared out a window. He looked at the darkening sky and sighed wishing for a way out.
((Sorry I've been at camp!)) Carmen approached hum.
((its all good))Sam didn't look at her,"What is it?" he said with an unknown emotion.
"I'm sorry." she said stiffly. she was sincere, but had no idea how to express this.
He sighed and turned to her,"I'm sorry too." he knew he was acting like a kid by the way he acted.
Carmen stepped quickly forward and kissed his cheek, darting back.
His lips twitched into a small smile and he turned his attention back out the window.
Carmen glanced out. "They say there's a way out."
"Really?" he asked finding it a bit hard to believe even if he wanted to believe it.
"Yes." she said quietly. 'I could ask the vampires."
"Wouldn't that be a bit dangerous?" he said thinking that something like that could spark an attack.
"No, they all know me." she said softly.
"Alright but I won't be accompanying you." he said leaning his head against the glass of the window.
"Alright." she said softly. she was staring at his lips. she remembered the pleasure that had filled her as they were pressing against her own. she remembered the softness of them, the gentleness with which he had pressed against her with
He caught her stare but wasn't sure at what,"You ok?" he asked sitting up.
Carmen flushed lightly and glanced away. "Yes."
"Just making sure." he smiled softly and stretched yawning softly.
Carmen shrugged indifferently. 'Okay. Good night."
"Good night." he said before laying down and closing his eyes.
Carmen slipped outside, her bow gripped tightly in her hand. she felt suddenly aware of all her senses. her ears pricked up, catching the smallest sounds. her vision sharpened and smells she could nit normally pick up waved passed. It was like being a werewolf, but not, she reflected.
