He was a bit surprised by her snap but sat back and took her defensiveness into consideration.
Carmen sat cross legged in the middle of her room and glared at the quilt. WHy was he asking so many questions?
Sam had this weird feeling of an angry atmosphere. He ignored it and sat with his ankles crossed thinking through much more.
Carmen didn't speak and ignored him, making sure her scars didn't get infected.
He sat there then remembered he was trying to leave the city. He got up walking out the door looking around the city walking around looking for the way he came into the city.
Carmen didn't Cate where he went. Good riddance! she thought.
Sam finally found the path he came from. Daylight was starting to fade he made it to the edge of the city and took a deep breath remember that she said that he couldn't leave. He stuck his hand out instantly causing a spider web like pattern to light up around the whole city. He pulled his hand away and kept trying over and over to get out.
As night fell Carmen got her bow and arrow and went to look for him. When she saw him, she shot an arrow next to him. it landed between his fingers.
Sam looked at the arrow between his fingers and sighed,"You weren't kidding about not being able to leave." he said said keeping his back toward her.
"And I wasn't kidding about the monsters." she growled.
"What does that have to do with anything." he said turning to face her.
"It's getting dark!' she shrieked. 'Get inside!"
He sighed loudly walking back toward the diner,"Fine."
She retrieved her arrow and hurried him to the diner.
He stepped inside the diner going to his room and sitting down,"Why did you come to get me?" he asked looking up at her.
"It would be murder if I didn't." she answered, locking the door.
He sighed bringing a knee up to his chest and stared out into space,"Thanks." he said simply.
"Not needed, therefore not accepted." she said ad simply, filling the gap in the lean to door.
"Fine." he said thinking about what he was going to do now that he was trapped.
"What are you thinking about?" she said sharply, whirling around to face him.
He looked her straight in the face,"What I'm gonna do now that I'm trapped." he said truthfully.
"Stay till you die." she said bluntly.
He sighed,"I just can't do that." he said putting his chin on his knee.
"Too bad." she rolled her eyes. "You can't leave."
"Why?" he asked trying to understand why all this was happening.
"I'm asking why it's there!" he yelled standing abruptly obviously agitated.
Carmen glared at him. "You idiot!" she shrieked. She covered her face, looking like she wad about to cry. She quickly ran out the door, slamming it behind her. She ran to the forest.
Sam slammed his fist into the wall. He took a deep breath and looked out yo where Carmen left and sighed. He shook his head and ran out after her.
Carmen was screaming. Her bones were growing and shrinking, her body was sprouting hair. "Go away!' she shouted to Sam.
"What are you doing?!" he shouted back to her keeping his distance.
She was alreay transformed. She turned to him, her eyes narrowed.
"Woah." he said quietly. He took a half step back. Then it clicked in his mind that his suspicion was right.
As soon as he stepped back, she launched towards him.
He accidentally tripped and realized that this could end very badly.
Carmen was next to him, growling and swishing her tail.
He quickly got up and looked at her,"Alright alright. Calm down." he said holding his hands up in defence.
She snapped playfully at his heels, but was growling.
"Hey not cool." he said taking another step back.
She jumped at him, pinning him to the ground
"Ow!" he cried as her nails dug into his shoulders,"Get off me please."
Carmen growled, her teeth very close to his face.
Sam looked into her eyes and in a thing that could either kill or save him. He grabbed her snout and used all his strength to shove her on to her back away from him. In doing so meant ripping her nails out of his shoulders.
Carmen yelped as she wad shoved off. She rolled quite a ways.
Sam stood quickly blood running down from both his shoulders. He breathed heavily, he took one last look at her before turning and running back toward the diner.
Carmen got up, whining. Where did he gi?
Sam slammed the door of the diner shut and slid down to the ground holding his shoulder. Outside was a blood trail.
Carmen sniffed along it and lay outside the diner, closing her eyes.
Sam sighed still holding his shoulders. He got up stumbling to the kitchen to wash out his wounds.((my replies are going to be late due to the fact I just got done puking my guts out.....I'm gonna go take a nap))
