Well I was suggesting between 4-6 weeks from now :-)

Would be up for a reread of Tigana, not read it for years.

Whose this now? O.o
Do you have a good idea when would work? Do you mean December?

So far I've got:
Tigana
1. Rob
2. Hanne
3. MPauli
4. Kat (but likely not with the group)
5. Mark (re-read)
---
6. Dara (might join discussion)
The Way of Kings
1. MPauli
2. David Sven

3. Rob (might join conversation)
Blood Song
1. MPauli
--
2. Rob (would rather wait until available in Paperback)
Where are all those other voters? I guess they just liked to vote on the list and forgot about the group. Hell, we have almost 100 members now, and 45 voters on the list but maybe only 5-10 active participants. lol.

When you get to it, I do want to read Black Company and Consider Phlebus. Maybe Black Prism (but I'm reading the Night Angel trilogy in the next few months too).

(that is, tigana or way of kings at this point, not both at the same time

I don't want to speak for anyone else (except David Sven, with whom I collaborate on evil schemes), but yes, that is actually our only goal.

Ha Ha! I'm sure there is a flowery song to be made about that somewhere.

Thanks for offering Alex. :) But as I'm a crazy person, when it comes to books, I already bought it sometime this year, after I read some positive reviews.

Rob already has plans to buy his own so...looks like you're on your own."
Thanks Alex, but I already have a copy as well.

Yes Please! Are they digital copies? Postage might be a bit expensive to Australia otherwise? Sorry, I'm a little ignorant on how ARCs work

Well, it wouldn't be much of an evil-plot-to-make-Rob-buy-a-book-in-a-format-he-doesn't-like (name in progress) if I didn't already own a copy, would it? That way I can pressure him or threaten to just read it on my own!
Thanks though, and where did you get 5 ARCs? I have a hard enough time
So the updated list:
Tigana
1. Rob
2. Hanne
3. MPauli
4. Kat (but likely not with the group)
5. Mark (re-read)

6. Dara (might join discussion)
7. Sky (might join conversation)
The Way of Kings
1. MPauli
2. David Sven
3. Mark
4. Hanne
5. Bill (would re-read if close to release of book 2)

6. Rob (might join conversation)
7. Dara (might join conversation)
8. Sky (might join conversation)
Blood Song
1. MPauli
2. Linette
3. Sky
4. David
--
5. Rob (would STILL rather wait until available in Paperback)
The Black Prism
1. Bill
2. Rob
---
3. Linette (maybe)
Looks like any one of the 3 if viable, maybe do The Way of Kings closer to March however? Since I probably won't reread between now and then it doesn't matter to me when you do it.

I wonder if he really has any ARCs or if he was just joining your little conspiracy. I'm also not sure if that means he was interested in reading it with the group, or what.

Dara wrote: "I... I... I have Blood Song too and I would read it with everyone but I don't wanna make Rob pick up and leave!"
Lol.
Lol.

Darn it, I thought you knew the secret of getting ARCs... my disappointment, it is legendary.
Okay, not really legendary. It was more that I felt bad for being the last one of the five people you mentioned who hadn't responded. I believe in my evil force-Rob-to-come-over-to-the-Kindle-side plots, darn it!
So I think there is enough interest for Tigana.
As for the others I'll leave that up to someone else to organize. I have it in audiobook. It's about 25 hours, so that will probably take me about 1.5 weeks to listen to it, so I might start a few days early.
I have Doctor Sleep and Heir of Novron to listen to first.
Is October 20th too early for everyone (apart from Kat) to start it? I figure I'll be ready to start it around the 17th or so, so that would give me a few days head start.

That could work out, but I wouldn't mind if it would be 1 week later.
OK, so anyone besides MPauli that said they want to read Tigana have an input?
Would the 10/27 work as a start date? Do you want to push it back to November?
It's a little harder for me to coordinate audiobooks.
Plus I have a road trip around 11/1, so if I'm starting this just before then I'll easily finish it quickly (probably well ahead of most people), so maybe it would be better to shoot for 11/10 instead..

Because not enough words have been expended already in expounding how wordy Kay is. One thing's for sure - We're not wordy, We're not wordy

late october should be ok. november would be slightly better, i made a lot of promises for october already to be honest.
