Goodreads Listopia
I am giving away two copies of Rumpelstiltskin's Child this month. It says "This book is not yet featured on Listopia. Add this book to your favorite list" but when I try, it can't find the book.I also can't add another book, Rayne Shines.
I thought I posted this question but I can't find it now. Apologies if I posted it somewhere else.I'm giving away two Rumpelstiltskin's Child. It suggests that I add it to Listopia. However, it won't come up when I search for it to add to Listopia. Neither will my other book, Rayne Shines.
Bonnie, have you tried searching by ID number (whether ASIN or ISBN). That usually helps.
I just figured it out. It was because I didn't have them listed on my shelf of books I have read. Thanks.
Is there a way to make sure a certain cover appears on a listopia list? These three lists are only about Coralie Bickford-Smith's covers:

At some point the Tibetan Book of the Dead (same ISBN) on these lists was updated to a newer cover. I found another entry with the correct cover, and marked it as an alternate cover edition, but is there a way to update these lists so that the correct cover is there again?

Is it possible to merge two similar lists, as the warnings on the list creation page suggest?I had created one list (https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/7... another user created an almost identical list (https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/7...) today without realizing the earlier list existed already. I believe the other list creator and I are both fine with them being merged, based on the comments on the newer list.

Oh, that's disappointing. Since it's mentioned on the list creation page, it gives the impression it's done more easily (perhaps even automatically) than I guess it really is. I also wonder if some people (not the case for this situation, but perhaps others) don't bother trying too hard to see if a similar list already exists, since they figure if it does, the two will just be combined eventually anyway.
We combined lists. Is it then ok for me to delete the list I created, since I was the only one who had voted on it anyway?

I just got a PM from a friend who's a GR Author and I'm not sure how to fix this, so I figured I'd post here. Here's her comment:
I first noticed my book was on a list because it showed up on the 'Lists with this book' blurb in review section. But later on in the day, it no longer showed up on book page, although the list is still there. How do I fix this?

Listopia are edition specific. One of the books is on the list, but the other editions won't necessarily show it.

is the most comprehensive list of dieselpunk that I have found on Goodreads, but because it doesn't have a dieselpunk tag it doesn't show up here:

or am I misunderstanding something? If I'm right, my question is, can only the creator of the list add that tag so it will show up with the genre or could you do it?

I don't know if someone added the tag since you posted or if was a cache issue, but the list does have the dieselpunk tag and does appear on the genre page.
It seems like someone has added the tag and it's good to see that it now appears on the genre page. Thanks for looking into it for me.
