It has been years since I re-read them so I am enjoying them very much. I just bought them all on my Kindle because my original copies are falling apart :)

message 659: by Shirley (new)

Shirley | 8 comments I loved the Cheney series. Be sure to read the follow-up series about Shiloh and Cheney next. It is good too.

message 660: by Shirley (new)

Shirley | 8 comments I highly recommend Tried and True by Mary Connealy. It is as good as any of her other books. I posted a review for it here on goodreads.

Loved them! I'm disappointed though in that only #2 is in Kindle at the moment. The other two are not available for Kindle. I find that weird!

I love that these old books are coming out on ebook! I read almost exclusively on ebooks these days because I can make the font bigger. :)

That is so weird! I wonder what's up with that? Someone in the publisher's ebook department dropped the ball on that one.

Jennifer | 32 comments I just finished The Christmas Promise by Kimberly Rose Johnson! Very enjoyable to read.

message 666: by Julie (new)

Julie Graves (gravesok) | 109 comments I used to not be able to do this...read more than one book at a time. But at the moment I am reading 4 books! All Fall Down by Ally Carter, Web of Deceit by Susan Sleeman, Secret Place of Thunder by Lynn Morris and Jessica Rules the Dark Side by Beth Fantaskey. I'm about halfway through 3 of them.

Reading different genres helps. All Fall Down is a YA novel. Web of Deceit is a romantic suspense. Secret Place of Thunder is a re-read and historical. And Jessica Rules the Dark Side is YA/Vampires. LOL! Plus only one isn't on my Kindle. Re-reading Secret Place of Thunder at night before bed is like having a warm cup of milk(not that I like a warm cup of milk, but didn't that used to be the way people would relax before bed?). It is relaxing and doesn't require a lot of brain cells to keep up with all of the characters :)

Katherine I am reading Emma by Jane Austen.

I really enjoyed Destiny. It is a wonderfully crafted book that blends the stories of three very diverse men in a time of tremendous turmoil in our world. I highly recommend it.

Do you know, I've never read Louis L'Amour even though I know lots of people who loved his books. I think it's because I'm a romance junkie and so Westerns didn't seem romancey enough for me. :)

message 684: by Kim (last edited Feb 15, 2015 04:03AM) (new)

Kim | 33 comments I finished reading A Timeless Romance Anthology All Regency Collection by Anna Elliott A Timeless Romance Anthology: All Regency Collection. All the stories were fresh and different then the status quo Regency era stories one reads. I especially liked the heroine who defied Regency society in its face by doing what she liked by being an etomologist despite it being unladylike. Really they were all winners in this clean novella anthology. I am currently reading a clean Regency novelette/short story anthology called The Lord Who Sneered and Other Tales A Regency Holiday Anthology by Heidi Ashworth The Lord Who Sneered and Other Tales: A Regency Holiday Anthology. So yeah in an Regency mood. Whom am I kidding, I am always in a Regency mood!

Katherine, have you read it before? I have started Wuthering Heights five times (not exaggerating) and haven't been able to finish it. I found Heathcliffe and Katherine very hard to like.
