Paula (pauldajo) I finished The Space Between and am now reading Mastiff. Good to read about Becca's adventures again.

message 3304: by Amy (new)

Amy almost finished with Into the Gauntlet and I have no clue what I'm going to read next.

Hi Paula. I greatly enjoyed Tamora Pierce's books about Becka.

Paula (pauldajo) Good to hear Alan! Beka's one of my favored characters.

message 3307: by Angela Sunshine (last edited Jan 17, 2012 05:05PM) (new)

Angela Sunshine (angelasunshine) I'm listening to Delirium by Lauren Oliver and reading an ARC of The Peculiars by Maureen Doyle McQuerry (I believe the official version is going to be out in May.)

Pamela (slytherpuff) (pam_slytherpuff) I just finished Bridge to Terabithia and am about to start Tricks.

message 3309: by Amy (new)

Amy Right now I'm reading one of the Vampire Diaries books. STephen's Diaries, book two. Forget what exactly it is called.

message 3310: by Wendy (new)

Wendy Lawrence (wendylawrence) | 21 comments I just finished Before I Fall. Has anyone read that? I hated the first chapter, but pushed onward and ended up really loving the book. I thought it was a clever idea that was executed really well with good writing and great characters (despite what I thought about the character in the first chapter)...

message 3311: by Amy (new)

Amy I'm reading Vesper's Rising and it's slow going.

message 3312: by Brooke (new)

Brooke (thecovercontessa) just finished Uglies (Uglies, #1) by Scott Westerfeld . Tonight I will either start Needor Shatter Me, not sure which

I'm loving it. The characters are great and they don't always do what you want them to do. I'm about 2/3 thru and I can't wait to find out what happens.

message 3318: by Kirsten (new)

Kirsten (kirsten27) | 53 comments I'm reading The Fault in Our Stars, and also Demonglass. Both are good. TFIOS is better, but also more painful. That's why I haven't picked it up in a few days.

I have a question on a different topic: do you any of you have goodreads on your facebook timeline? I kind of want to do it, but only if I can select which friends can see it. I don't want everyone on my friends list to see what I'm reading; it would be like them peering inside my soul. Maybe I'm just weird. But is there a way to have goodreads on timeline but limit who can see it? Thank you!

message 3319: by Brooke (new)

Brooke (thecovercontessa) Just finished Need (Need, #1) by Carrie Jones and now I'll start Tempest (Tempest, #1) by Julie Cross and Nightshade (Nightshade, #1) by Andrea Cremer

message 3320: by Amy (new)

Amy Loved Need and NIghtshade. I'm reading Tempest now and it's pretty good but it's slow going for me.

I like Tempest so far. I actually don't want to put it down, so I'm getting a different feel for it than you are. Need was ok, not the best PNR I've read. I didn't open Nightshade yet, I'll start it tonight.

Eden Silverfox (tsalagi_writer) | 265 comments I'm reading Demonglass by Rachel Hawkins.

message 3323: by Kirsten (new)

Kirsten (kirsten27) | 53 comments I finished The Fault in Our Stars, by John Green, and sobbed through the last part. I used up at least 8 tissues. What an amazing book. I'm still working on Demonglass, which I am getting more into, and waiting to start Tempest.

message 3324: by Emily (new)

Emily I am about to start Howl's Moving Castle, and I've heard good things about it, so I'm exited!

I'm reading Tempest right now. I rather like it. It's different, reminds me of the 80s TV show, Quantum Leap.

message 3327: by Amy (new)

Amy Or Sliders? Have you seen that one?

message 3328: by Ronyell (new)

Ronyell (rabbitearsblog) | 95 comments I'm currently reading Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins . It's really good so far!

message 3329: by Brooke (new)

Brooke (thecovercontessa) Amy wrote: "Or Sliders? Have you seen that one?"

No. What is this? I loved Quantum Leap so if it's like that, i would love it. I just finished Tempest (Tempest, #1) by Julie Cross and I really enjoyed it. Very different from what I've been reading lately. I look forward to the next book.

message 3330: by Brooke (new)

Brooke (thecovercontessa) I'm about to start Clockwork Angel (The Infernal Devices #1) by Cassandra Clare and Pretties (Uglies, #2) by Scott Westerfeld

message 3331: by Amy (new)

Amy Sliders was this older (well to me) show with Jerry O'Connell who learned how to use wormholes to slide to different times. Something goes wrong and he has to keep sliding to find his home. It was an awesome show.

Oh, yeah! Now I remember. Not older than Quatum Leap, tho! LOL! Exactly the same concept.

message 3333: by Amy (new)

Amy No not older than that but I think it was late 90's maybe? Definitely before Jerry O'Connell was so well known.

message 3335: by Paula (new)

Paula (pauldajo) I finished listening to Playing with Fire and started reading The Faceless Ones. I want to listen/read all the Skulduggery books, but it seems that in the US only the 1st 3 books of the series are available. I really like listening to Skulduggery's stories and Rupert Degas is a great narrator.

*I dont have many friends on here, so if anyone would like to add me, feel free. I like having friends on here, because it gives me ideas on what to read, based on what everyone else is ;]

message 3339: by Amy (new)

Amy I'm reading Dragonswood which is not normally my type of book (takes place in the past) but I'm really enjoying it, even though it's slow going).

There was a whole bunch of people that were disappointed in this one. I think I gave it a 3 out of 5.

message 3343: by Amy (new)

Amy I think the first one I felt just "blah" on which is probably why I don't remember much of it.

message 3344: by Kellyflower (new)
