What Are You Reading Now?
I just finished The Van Alen Legacy by Melissa de la Cruz. I really liked it. I'm about to start Lament by Maggie Stiefvater.

Eden wrote: "I'm reading The Giver by Lois Lowry."My favorite YA book of all time! Hope you like it too!
Roshini wrote: "Just started Impossible by Nancy Werlin."I loved this one, Roshini. I hope you enjoy it, too.
Finished Wake by Lisa McMann this morning and trying to figure out what book to start on next. Either Natalie Standiford's How to Say Good-bye in Robot or The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner.

I've read about 50 pages and I am really enjoying it so far.

I'm finding it so hard to stop reading! Can't wait to get back to it!
I'm just finishing 'Around the world in 80 days' and I'm going to start 'Life of Pi' which I can't wait to read.
Reading I Capture the Castle, which I am adoring.
Also reading Bridge to Terabithia, which I'm finding a bit dull, and a little irritating.

Loved I Capture the Castle! :)
I have just finished How to Say Good-bye in Robot by Natalie Standiford and I am almost finished with The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner.
If you like ghost stories you can try Shadowed Summer by Saundra Mitchell. And How to Say Good-bye in Robot is a quirky but fun read. Roshini wrote: "Finished Impossible, and I have no idea what to read next!"
Thanks Alyson, haven't heard of those, but I'll go look them up. In the meantime I've started on Lucky by Alice Sebold.
Lucky sounds like a difficult story to read. Roshini wrote: "Thanks Alyson, haven't heard of those, but I'll go look them up. In the meantime I've started on Lucky by Alice Sebold. "
I am still making my way through The Dark Divine. I am really enjoying it. I wasn't expecting the supernatural twist in it. And being a lover of anything supernatural and YA, I am happy with the path it's taking. I hadn't read much about the book before reading it and the back cover didn't hint to it. Anyways, I'll keep ya posted... so far, so good!
I'm trying to get to If I Stay, but I've gotten sidetracked from my 2010 reading list already by the Hamish Macbeth mysteries by M.C. Beaton, nice little cozy mysteries set in the Highlands of Scotland. With the snow we just received, cozy mysteries are just the ticket.
Just finished Wildwood Dancing. Now I'm working on finishing reading Inkdeath and starting Seeing Redd.
Jess wrote: "I finally finished The Book of Lost Things this morning and LOVED it! "Yay!! I loved it, too! It's one of my faves. I hope to buy the hardback this weekend to add to my bookshelf of keepers. :)
Jess wrote: "I finally finished The Book of Lost Things this morning and LOVED it! "I'm going to have to try this one. I have it on my shelf (well, one of my many book shelves--LOL).
I finished The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner...can't wait to read the rest of the series. Started "Al Capone Does My Shirts" and it is a fun read so far. Good Middle Grades book.
i am currently reading The Poer by LJ Smith the last of the Secret Circle Series and it is totally awesome. Love the cliffhangers and leaves you wanting to know more.
I'm slowly but surely working my way through Geektastic: Stories from the Nerd Herd. Some stories are better than others... I think it really depends on where your geekish tendencies lie. I love Star Trek, Star Wars, and Battlestar Galactica (the new version), so of course I'm preferring stories that have something to do with those... (The first story was amazing!) :)

I'm reading The Christopher Killer currently. It's a amusingly dark cozy mystery with forensic/CSI touches.
Susan wrote: "I am now reading Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater."Loved, loved, loved Shiver! Enjoy, Susan.
Roshini wrote: "Thanks Alyson, haven't heard of those, but I'll go look them up. In the meantime I've started on Lucky by Alice Sebold. "I thought Lucky was great! Even though, it was a tough subject to read about, I loved it. Definitely one of my favorite books ever and my favorite Alice Sebold.
Working through the Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddord and picked up the sequels today to THE THIEF and AL CAPONE DOES MY SHIRTS.
Susan wrote: "I am now reading Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater."I loved Shiver and enjoyed Lament. Can't wait for Linger to come out (sequel to Shiver).

It is, I can only read a few pages at a time. I'm wondering if I should read something lighter in the meantime.
Susan wrote: "Just Listen by Sarah Dessen"I loved "Just Listen." It's one of my very favorite Dessen books. Enjoy!

What?! There's going to be a sequel? I just finished Shiver and I really loved it. I'm so glad to find out that there is more!
It will actually be a trilogy - Shiver, Linger and then Forever. Kirsten wrote: "Alyson wrote: "Susan wrote: "I am now reading Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater."
