I read "While the World Watched" a couple of years ago and found it fascinating and heartbreaking. It was one of the best memoirs I've ever read. Thoroughly recommend it.

Cassie Selleck (cdselleck) | 7 comments Cathy wrote: "Just finished The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry & anxious to start The Invention of Wings."

Those are both two of my very favorite books. I wasn't sure I would love Harold Fry because of the pacing of the book, but then I realized it fit the story perfectly. Lovely little book. And The Invention of Wings by Sue Monk Kidd shot right up to the top for me, along with To Kill a Mockingbird and Ferrol Sams' Run With the Horsemen and Lee Smith's Oral History.

Cassie Selleck (cdselleck) | 7 comments I recently read "My Grandmother Told Me to Tell You She's Sorry". There were a few times I thought, I'm not sure about this one, but I'm glad I stuck with it to the end. I loved the characters, but sometimes the narrative drags a bit. I'm looking forward to reading A Man Called Ove by the same author, but my daughter commandeered my copy and I have to wait until I visit her again!
