I've gotten this book from the library twice and had to return it because it was a two-week book (still new). I hope that the third time is the charm. I'm determined to get through it this time.

Shomeret | 6 comments I'm still reading The Tumbling Turner Sisters and I thought I should mention that racism is a theme in this novel. There's a character who is African American tap dancer and he experiences discrimination in vaudeville. His life story is a record of the racism during this period (1920's U.S.).

I discovered the Japanese author HARUKI MARUKAMI and started reading KAFKA ON THE SHORE, then went on with
THE WINDUP BIRD CHRONICLE and went back to KAFKA ON THE SHORE and got from our Oxfordshire City library 4 more of his mind using books.

Rebonkula (rebonka) Currently reading The Dead Path by Stephen M Irwin. I have to say that this book took my by surprise at how fast of a read it is. I am very pleased with the characters and the perspective that the author puts on how the main character sees ghosts and what their meaning is.

Marian Not to long ago I finished "The Book Of Negroes The Book of Negroes by Lawrence Hill

and it was an awesome read!Lawrence Hill is just a great story teller.

Now I am reading Philippa Gregory book Three Sisters Three Queens... Three Sisters, Three Queens (The Plantagenet and Tudor Novels, #8) by Philippa Gregory
